I purchased connection trip from BKK to Samui, however bus from Surat Thani train station to Pier have cancelled. They have refunded the bus fees however I think it’s more fair to refund part of service fees as well. By the way, the staff is helpful and nice!

There was no one who spoke English on the bus, at the transfer to the van, or at the transfer to the ferry. Usually in Thailand there are plenty of people who speak a little bit of English, but not this time. I was able to figure it out by repeatedly showing my ticket to people who would point in the right direction, but I could have easily been left on the side of the road at 5am if I hadn’t been determined.

Not suggest for old person, hard to having deep sleeping on the bus and ferry. However, this will be new experience for traveler. Provided Coke Zero, water bottle and small cake. I think it was enough for supper. And the ferry arrived earlier to island at 9:00. So I had more time to discover the island.
