Unnecessary extra fees at check-in – watch out! As soon as we arrived at the pier, we were asked where we were traveling to. Since we were about an hour early, I showed our pre-booked ticket. The staff immediately suggested that we could take an earlier boat, but only if we paid an extra fee.I declined the offer. Don't let them confuse you or pressure you into paying more! If you already have a valid ticket, you have every right to take your booked boat at the scheduled time. If you have the time to spare, just wait and say no to the upgrade. It felt like a very unpleasant attempt to extract extra money from tourists right upon arrival.

The boat was on time, but the company we were contacted by weren’t the operator, and the boat transfer also wasn’t the operator so it was confusing. We got to the port early, and the guy checking us in told us the boat was waiting for us which wasn’t true as people were still boarding and others also came after us. When we got to the port, we’d booked a transfer and despite me asking the guy what to do he just told me I needed to sort onward travel myself and got on the boat and left us. It gets you from A to B, but it’s very unorganised and the people working the boats are really arrogant and unhelpful.
