2 hours delay in departure even with good weather. None proactively told me about the delay, so I waited 3 hours and the guys in the WhatsApp lacked clarity. The drivers talked loud the entire night, as I was in B2 seat, I was not able to sleep. When arriving in Da Nang they changed us for a grab car so the bus don’t go to the city to drop us in our pickup point. Communication with driver was difficult as they don’t speak English and I don’t speak Vietnamese.

The toilet on the bus wasn't working. The bus arrived late at the departure station. For the last hour of the trip, we were transferred to another sleeper bus, which had more passengers than seats.

This was an excellent trip. Communication was really good with office staff, to keep me updated on any changes. The bus was comfortable. I had heard a lot of bad experiences with overnight bus trips in Vietnam, but this wasn't my experience. Just make sure you have something warm (long pants so you don't stick to upholstery) and something soft for a pillow and you'll be fine!
