Train #SE20 Cabin 2x, Vietnam Railways (Đường sắt Việt Nam), Mar 15, 2020
Great experience, we’d done intramural flights and sleeper buses. So thought we’d give this a try too. 2 person cabin was clean and comfortable, air con worked fine. They give you a pillow and thin quilt/blanket. Thick mattress with a clean sheet on as well. Would use again but give the food amiss and take my own noodles (there’s a machine dispensing boiling water) Toilets were a little grubby but quite useable All in all a fun experience

Train #SE2 1st Class Sleeper, Vietnam Railways (Đường sắt Việt Nam), Mar 14, 2020
Old train, nothing fancy but everything you need to get from a to b. We were lucky enough to get a 4 berth cabin to ourselves which was awesome. They do serve a cheap meal on the train which we didn't know about, it was pretty good $3.50aud for rice veg chicken and soup. You buy a little ticket from one guy and the food is served at around 6pm. Other than that there is a cart with coffee, beer and a few snacks. We did get woken at 5.20 to some god awful music blaring, nasty! At least we didn't miss our stop. Toilets are as bad as you could expect.

Everything went smoothly. I was pleased with how easy it was to book with 12go and on line check in went smoothly. The flight is bare bones but we knew that and is such a good price and it was on time. This is our 2nd time with both 12go and Vietnam Airlines. We will use both again in the future.

Flight was delayed due to incoming flight being late. Flight attendants were nice and friendly. Da Nang airport could use more electrical outlets or USB ports.

Was a great journey and bed were actually pretty comfortable, only downside was that the train moves around a tone and is extremely noisey, the bugs and cockroaches didn’t help either!
