The overall trip was good. Bumpy but good. But what I apparently missed in the fine print was that you don’t even have enough room to sit up on these buses. It’s comfortable if you aren’t claustrophobic. They did stop in the middle for a bathroom break.

I should have left Hanoi at 13:00. Instead of the bus arriving at 13:00, a taxi came to pick me up and took me to the bus station, where I had to wait until 14:00. The bus itself was in very good condition. The biggest problem was that we left one hour late and arrived in Ha Giang two and a half hours later than stated on my ticket. This was quite late for me because I already had some things planned.

It was pretty good. Except when we arrived at ha giang, they put us in a smaller bus and didn’t tell what we where going to do… so we drove 1 hour around to drop everybody off at there stay. Meanwhile our stay was the closet to the bus stop. They couldn’t speak English so it was difficult to communicate
