Kevin NThe coordinates for the pick up point were wrong. Trust your gut and the starting point you've booked. I thought I was going straight to Hat Yai but actually they drove to Krabi first to get more people in. The 2nd Van which was actually a bus were super shaky. Bring a blanket or extra clothes because the air con is way too strong. I was about 1 hour late at Hat Yai.

Aldric MWhat can I say other than that the Google reviews reflect the reality quite well, and that the difference in ratings between Google and 12Go Asia is quite strange and misleading.
Our scheduled pick-up time was 8:40 am at our hotel. Since the voucher specifies that the actual pick-up time may be approximately 30 minutes before or after the scheduled time, we played along and were ready 30 minutes early.
Also, given the luggage policy stating that passengers are only allowed “one bag with fairly restrictive dimensions”, we also played along and booked three seats for two people, so that we could use the third seat to place our two reasonably sized backpacks.
In the end, at 8:46 am, there was still nothing: no message on WhatsApp, no information, no van.
So I decided to send a WhatsApp message to the number specified on the 12Go Asia voucher.
No response.
At 9:17 am, we decided to call the WhatsApp number. While it was ringing, we received a message from another WhatsApp (note on the voucher) number telling us that the van would arrive in 5–10 minutes, along with an apology.
The van finally arrived at 9:40 am. Yeah !
We then went to pick up some other passengers, which is completely normal. Out of curiosity, I asked them what their scheduled pick-up time was, and they told us 10:00 am — even though their hotel was only five minutes from ours. Hum, the difference between our scheduled pick-up times was quite significant.
I assume the company simply forgot to let us know that our pick-up time had changed. At least, that’s what I imagine happened.
We then stopped at the Krabi bus terminal to pick up some locals. Again, no problem : this is mentioned on the voucher.
However, you have to bear in mind that the Krabi bus terminal is not the only stop: there are multiple bus stops along the road to Koh Lanta.
The problem is that they seem determined to fill the van to capacity. As mentioned in other Google reviews and 12goAsia, passengers sitting behind us ended up having suitcases under their legs. Luckily, we had played along and booked our third seat. Yeah !
Obviously, when you’re transporting tourists, they are going to have luggage, so this luggage policy seems rather strange. Why not.
Another issue is that the van is also used for deliveries. It was carrying various parcels, some of which were quite large, taking up additional space inside the van.
So, on top of the frequent stops at bus stops, the driver also had to stop to pick up parcels and, of course, deliver them.
Finally, we had to change vehicles about 15 minutes before reaching our hotel so that they could finally drop us off. (Why not, I guess.)
With all these little complications, we ended up arriving at our destination two hours later than the original arrival time stated on the voucher. We didn’t have anything specifically planned, so it wasn’t a major issue for us, but it’s definitely something future passengers should take into account.
Aside from all of this, the lack of communication, the lack of clear information about the frequent stops ( particularly the parcel pick-ups and deliveries, but a very kind local passenger explained to us after she was picked up at a bus stop and thank you to her !) and, the lack of professionalism, the journey itself went well.
The driver was friendly, drove safely, and we eventually arrived at our destination. However, the lack of communication at the beginning was quite stressful, especially when we had no idea what was happening.
The purpose of this review is to help the company improve and provide a better service.

Peter CFirst of all the driver was going a bit too fast, at times twice the speed that he was supposed to. Of course this meant a shorter drive, but it wasn’t comfortable especially when the roads weren’t that good. Also we were supposed to be picked up at 11:40, but were contacted via WhatsApp and asked if 11 was fine, which it was, but at 10:35 we got a call from our reception and was told that the driver was already there waiting for us with the car full of other passengers. This meant that we had to rush out.

Md GTicket was sold to me saying minivan will be the vehicle, but I was boarded into a nearly full Bus at the terminal. It took more than 6 hours to reach destination, as I was transferred to a local van at the Krabi bus terminal to get to me to the final leg of the Ao Nang journey.

Basil WGood. After reading reviews of the site where the negative ones stod out, I was skeptical. Then when sourcing for transportation elsewhere online, the alternatives seemed a whole lot more expensive. So i went ahead with 12go. To my surprise, everything went well. The drivers were ahead of time in picking us up, and our arrivals were also on point. The drivers really floored on the pedal, so at certain instances there were some rapid breaking here and there but then again, even in my country the van drivers are like that so.. i made it back in one piece so I'm not gonna complain lol.

Thitikan KThe van and the driver himself were good but the operator didnt even pick the phone up after calling for a number of times. They replied only via whatsapp but that was different from the phone numbers given on the PDF file. Despite the gate and the appearance of the van shown in PDF file, there is information indicated for passengers to check in 30 mins before arrival time. However, there was no one there to proceed with the check in and when asking they said no check in required. I would suggest to delete this instruction from the PDF and I did give the operator feedback. Also, please provide the phon numbers that there is someone speaking on it properly to improve service quality!

But I proceeded anyways with fingers crossed. Waited at gate 15 after arrival and lo and behold, the van driver arrived 15 mins before designated departure time to the island. Was greeted and he helped with me and partner's luggages. Got into the van with others (shared minivan). The drive was fast, only a couple of moments where

Melissa DI tried to contact this company multiple times to confirm our transfer. The live chat link and phone number on the booking voucher don’t work. I had to ask another operator who’d contacted me about an outward journey, and ask them to chase as the number they provided wasn’t responding. 20 minutes before pick up they let me know they’d be late, and showed later than that. We were taken to a bus that didn’t leave for another hour, yet would’ve made an earlier one had they been on time. It was a lot of waiting around when the pick up option could’ve just been much later to avoid that.

Melissa DThe boat was on time, but the company we were contacted by weren’t the operator, and the boat transfer also wasn’t the operator so it was confusing.
We got to the port early, and the guy checking us in told us the boat was waiting for us which wasn’t true as people were still boarding and others also came after us. When we got to the port, we’d booked a transfer and despite me asking the guy what to do he just told me I needed to sort onward travel myself and got on the boat and left us.
It gets you from A to B, but it’s very unorganised and the people working the boats are really arrogant and unhelpful.

Robert WI had an issue with my app and could not open the voucher. Since I had a paid receipt I thought I would show it to the driver. I learned to look at the voucher in the future as it had instructions where to meet.
Thanks to the outstanding people at 12GO and Jijie tour they and a kind Dutch woman got me to the van meeting location and arranged for my transfer to my hotel. They went out of their way to resolve the issue when it was my fault. Would another company have made such an effort?
I will always contract with 12GO and Jijie Tour.

Aglae CI’ve booked a hotel pick up to airport trip. The departure was supposed to be between 9:40 and 10am. The driver called me at 9:25 because we weren’t ready and waiting with our suitcases at the entrance of the hotel. He was rude, telling me to hurry and be quick because the scheduled had changed (which I was not aware of) and that he will leave in 5 minutes. After explaining that it was not what was agreed, he stayed until 9:40 for us to finish our checking out.
We arrived at the airport more than one hour before the scheduled time.

Emmanuel KAs a Malaysian who used this service, I must say I'm impressed. I had a car pick me up from the hotel at the mentioned time. They arrived on time, picked me up from the hotel, and took me to the bus terminal. The minibus was fairly comfortable. Break time was a bit longer than expected. Took us about 4 1/2 hours to reach Hat Yai.

Brian AGot me to my destination, so that’s the important part. It wasn’t a comfortable trip though. I was rudely ordered to move to a back seat that had so little legroom, I had to prop my legs up on the hard plastic seat in front of me. The van was packed and too hot. It also didn’t deliver to the hotel as was advertised. Dropped off on a main road where I had to walk some distance to find the actual hotel. Granted, this is all pretty common in Thailand for tourist transportation, hence the “average” rating.

Eloise FDriver was excellent and efficient - issue came with the communication beforehand. Despite messaging and calling several times, we did not know what time we were being picked up at so made alternative arrangements. Only at the time the van was arriving did we get a response. There is also a hidden charge for certain hotels on the island which are not detailed when buying.

Daniela PThe driver handled the luggage quite roughly, stuffing and squishing everything. One of the wheels on a suitcase of somebody else broke off. The luggage was stowed away in a completely illogical manner. The driver was unfriendly and in a bad mood. The stop at the airport took forever, with no explanation as to why. We weren‘t dropped off right in front of the specified accomodation, but at the front of the street, and had to walk a long way with our luggage in the heat.
This service is Not recommendable.
