Bus is a convenient way of travel no matter whether you need to get to a neighboring town a couple of hours away or venture further afield crossing the whole country. Whatever your budget, buses have you covered. Express buses offer the most affordable ticket price for travellers who have very little money to spend. VIP options are geared toward those who do not want to compromise on comfort. Before you jump on a bus, make sure you choose the type of service which suits you best. For a long-haul trip look for a VIP or first-class coach which provides non-stop service to your destination or just call a minor number of stations along the way. Express or local buses in many cases may prove an acceptable choice for shorter trips, but longer rides are often not the best buy. Study the timetable before going as many long-haul destinations are served by night buses, and some offer wider seats or sleeper berths for such travels. Make an online reservation for your bus ticket with Stanisic Doo. Other travellers’ reviews will help you to choose the best ticket and coach class.

Stanisic Doo buses ply a number of routes and here is the list of some of the most popular ones:
One of the best things about bus travel is that you can almost tailor-make your trip adjusting it to your requirements for privacy and comfort. Different classes and types of buses cater to the different needs of travellers. The cheapest trips are normally offered by standard-class buses. They may be called local, express or ordinary. These are a good choice for shorter trips. Sleepers or VIP coaches are good both for longer and overnight trips. They may offer berths or wide soft reclining seats, sometimes with built-in massage options, blankets, soft drinks, and snacks, or more substantial meals on board or during toilet or refuelling stops. Travelling by night buses allows you to save on a hotel room, but to ensure the most comfortable ride do choose the class of your bus wisely. Prices always depend on the distance you ride and the type of coach. For some, even shorter trips, it is worth investing some extra money and buying a seat on a VIP bus as it can save you twice as much time as you spend travelling by an ordinary bus.
Travel by Bus: Pros & Cons
Pros of Bus Travel
Bus is the best choice to get to destinations that are not connected by rail or planes. The network of buses often covers almost the whole country, and their routes are well and long-established.
Opposite to air travel and sometimes rail travel, taking a bus does not require arriving at the bus station much in advance. Check-in, even on international routes, does not take much time. Luggage allowances are usually very traveller-friendly, and the fee for extra luggage, if limits are set, is normally not very high.
Bus tickets can be more affordable compared to air or fast train tickets. There is always a choice of ticket classes for all pockets. Cheaper standard options may be a bit slow and do not offer top comfort, but anyway acceptable and bring you to your destination. On longer routes, toilets or toilet stops as well as snacks, water, and sometimes toiletries and blankets are almost always included in the price.
If you are ready to spend more, some VIP coaches offer seating comparable to business class on a plane with wide soft reclining seats, blankets, fewer passengers, and many other perks to make your trip a pleasant journey.
Cons of Bus Travel
Newer intercity bus terminals are very often located out of the city close to bigger highways to allow buses to avoid city congestion. Unfortunately, it may create extra challenges for travellers, too. Getting to such a terminal may be a problem as in some destinations there are restrictions on vehicles allowed to enter the terminal, and you will have to use special carriers to get there. This results in higher costs as prices may be inflated. Also do calculate extra time if you are travelling during rush hours, especially if you are not familiar with the traffic situation at your starting point.
Buses are probably the means of transport which runs out of schedule more often than trains or planes. They are heavily dependent on the road situation which sometimes can be unpredictable – accidents, road construction works, detours, etc. This is especially true for travels during weekends, high season, or national holidays. Do keep this in mind and do not plan tight connections.
Travelling on certain routes or during the most popular periods may require advanced booking. Bear in mind that it is not always possible to show up at the bus station and hop on the next bus – tickets may well be all sold out, so organize your trip accordingly.

Overloaded bus and poor air conditioning. Well. We got from point A to the point B. Bus driver was clearly stressed and somewhat rude. In Kotor there were too many people for the bus so The driver decided to overload the bus with 6 More passenger than there were seats. Fortunately we had bought "The internet ticket" Day before so we were allowed onboard. It was really hot day so the extra passengers made the bus feel like A furnace. I would say avoid this firm.

Horrible bus. The only positive was that we left on time. Paid the same as the price of the ticket for the proper bus, but it was a van that they overpacked with people (some stood for a multi hour journey). The van was disgusting from a hygiene perspective - dirty and moldy. Everyone was charged €2 for their backpacks but had to hold it on their lap or under their feet. There was no space for luggage. Random people were picked up in the road. Not recommended but no other options….

Driver called me a donkey. Took me from point A to pint B. It took us time to find a place in the crowded van and in order to let the other passengers go down in their stops, it becomes hard sometimes to getting back again to our sits, the driver started to shout at us, telling that we are “stupid and donkey” among other words in his lenguaje. I now he could have a stressed day, but I could not agree that he call me like that. Very bad experience.

They oversold tickets. People had to sit in the floor for half of the ride (1 hour and a half). Very expensive to travel that way. Nothing safe, considering the hard road full of curves. Rip off.

Wirst bus ride of my life. Worst bus ride of my life. The bus driver disregarded all traffic rules and drove like a lunatic. 20 per person plus additional costs are really expensive. If there is another way to get to Zabljak you should choose it. Other bus trips with Get by Bus were perfectly okay - this one was not.

It’s an adventure! A mini bus designed for 20 people is transporting 30 people along the coast through smaller towns. The air conditioning barely works. After that, it races to its destination, overtaking cars on a solid line. When it empties out a bit, the driver opens the doors so we can cool off. But hey, it's an adventure! Bus left on time. No AC, driver smoking on the bus, letting on many passengers who have to stand towards the end of the trip.

Absolute shambles. Hopped on a minibus in Niksic that was supposed to be heading to Zabljak, then five minutes later the driver pulls up and tells us to get out and hop on a different bus. When the driver of the second bus asked for my ticket an hour later in Savnik, I realised the first driver had taken it. The second driver then tried to stop me from getting my backpack out of the bus when we arrived in Zabljak and was demanding that I buy another ticket!

Not the greatest. Driver charged 2€ per carry on bag, when every other bus has charged 1€. Some guys fought him on it and he gave in. So that felt like we were ripped off right away. Crazy aggressive driver, no air conditioning, stopped a lot for random people getting on and off. Paying 20€ for one 3 hour ticket should definitely get you a better experience than this company provided.

driver was video calling and checking instagram stories the entire time. it was incredibly dangerous, as he was in the other lane 30-40% of the journey and randomly stops to have coffee with his friends.

Driver sold tickets to walk ons before those who had booked online had arrived. This makes no sense.

Crazy driving. Driver was friendly enough. The driving was chaotic - he ran many red lights, including one at a construction site where he overtook several queued vehicles. We also nearly had a few head on collisions, the driver regularly drove over the centre line and stared at his phone while he drove. Ourselves and other passengers felt very unsafe. My partner drives small buses in NZ where the road toll is very high, and he couldn't believe the driving we experienced. The driver seemed like he had a lot of local friends and the impact that he would have on them if he lost his life on the road, I imagine would be devastating hope this review finds you well.

The bus was so tiny that not all passengers could get a seat or bring their luggage. Driver was helpful and spoke enough English to communicate well. There was not enough seats for everyone who booked. There was only enough room for luggage for 5 people. The bus was so small and seats so tight, we ended up deciding to forgoe the trip as we could not sit comfortably with the bags on our laps. And we did not want the family with child to have to stand the whole travel.

Mini van was extremely hot. The temperature of the van made the trip quite uncomfortable. However, driver was nice. Extremely hot! No aircon.

Definitely an experience! Fun but uncomfortable and dangerous. The driver was super friendly and obviously wanted to accommodate people who the bus company had obviously over sold tickets too. The bus was overloaded with people and baggage. While there are seats for two in the front, three people were squeezed onto this. five extra people stood in the aisle and we paid for our large bags to be stored in the back, however there was no space so they had to be in the aisle too. This was not a short trip either. There was no aircon and the sliding door was left open while driving with no seatbelts. The breaks could be heard squealing.
