Do check your options before you book the ticket as in some cases this trip to the airport can be even more expensive than your air ticket itself.
- All airlines require you to arrive well in advance to check in, register your luggage and go through security checks. For short-distance flights, these formalities may result in longer travel time than that offered by buses or trains.
- There are people who suffer from aerophobia, and flying may be a stressful experience for them, especially if flying domestically on smaller planes prone to turbulence.
