The car was falling apart and reeked of diesel fuel. The driver smoked the entire time. The engine stalled in the middle of a highway, seat belt was broken, and the lights kept going out (an unforgettable experience on a misty night on a winding road!). We made it to Tbilisi, just a couple of hours late. Wouldn't recommend it to anyone, honestly. Please just let this million-mile piece of scrap metal die already.

Compared to the overnight train it was really good. The boarder control took only around 15 minutes (not like the 5 hours in the train) and we arrived on time. The only problem was that the bus driver was driving really recklessly, like he drove 90 in a 40 zone and tried to pass every car in front of us. He almost caused 3 crashes and there were no seatbelts in the car so we felt very unsafe.

To find the bus station in yerevan was easy. We even left as soon as we were complete. The stops along the way where clean and sufficient. The location where we got droped off in tbilisi was not the place we ecpected. So use a bolt to get from there to the final location is my recommendation. Car was clean, and comfortable. Minivan. Driver had no english knowledge but was friendly and everything was easy to understand. Border crossing was easy and was easy to find the car and driver on the orher side.

Good travel experience from Yerevan to Tbilisi. The driver was helpful, professional, and got us there quickly. Some parts of the road were a bit scary due to the mountain turns, but the journey was smooth overall. Recommended.

I asked several times, if the bus is taking a route through Aparan, so I could board close to my home. They said no, the bus don't take customers from other spots. So I had to leave 1,5 hours earlier to get into Garegin Nzdeh square. Then it took one hour for the driver to get out of Yerevan, because he went to pick up 2 people from Nork district. And then he took the route on the road close to my home, so I could have saved 3 hours, if they could pick up also me on the way! The first driver was very professional, but when they changed, the second driver was breaking every rule and traffic law by driving too fast, looking the phone or talking in thd phone all the way up to border of Georgia. The safety belts didn't work. The driver told us to carry our luggages and walk 1 km from Armenian custom to Georgian custom, he could not take us by car. In Tbilisi he did not drive to Dynamo stadium at all, but left us to Ortachala bus station. I give one star for the first driver and second star for a very cheap price. Everything else was horrible: the customer service, the car, the attitude and behavior of the driver, not following the good manners, schedule and the program.

  • To avoid being disturbed by overhead lights, switched on during stops even at night, and too loud music or sound from the on-board entertainment system, have earplugs and a sleeping mask at hand.
  • As a courtesy to other passengers, avoid using strong perfumes or smelly foods. Some foods like cheeses or durians are forbidden to take on-board – check in advance. Alcohol is also prohibited on the majority of buses.
