Unfortunately the ticket showed the wrong time. So it said the boat leave in Siggigi at 11.30 but it actually left at 10.30. After some discussions and great support from some locals we have been able to take the boat from Bangsal at 12.00 but needed to get there, which was really a challenging drive. Further we had pick-ups arranged for Padangbai which was all significantly delayed. The ferry itself was good!

No departure from Senggigi but from Bangsal, so requiered a car trip with Friendly driver. Boattrip was awful. Extreme loud, pounding low quality music that caused all passengers ear damage. We asked the staff to turned the volume a bit down and they arrogantly answered that this wasnt a sleeping boat and continued smoking their sigarettes. I recommend you to travel by boat with Gili Getaway. They are friendly, calm, comfortable seats, and serve cold water and linen cold refreshment towels before arriving. Golden Queen serves drunk young touristst better.

Suppose to depart from Senggigi pier but the staff from Golden Queen Boat sent an whatsapp to inform us that the depart location has changed to Bangsal port instead with a free pickup transport from our hotel. After reaching Padang Bai Port, together with 2 guys from Germany, we set off in a van to our respective drop off locations(hotels). Our tickets clearly stated that we will have a free transport to our hotel, but the driver insisted on collecting 100,000 rupiah from us if we want to be drop off at our hotel. We rejected and he dropped us at central ubud in the end.
