Booking reference: BW4900416
I booked and paid about $75 on 12Go for what was clearly advertised as a Talgo train from Alexandria to Cairo.
Talgo trains in Egypt are the new high-speed trains, which is exactly why I chose that option and paid a higher price.
However, when I arrived at the station their representative handed me a ticket for train #88 instead — a regular, much slower train that costs about $40 and is NOT a Talgo service.
So I paid almost double for a service that I did not receive.
If the Talgo train was not available, the company should have informed me and refunded the difference instead of silently replacing it with a cheaper train.
This experience feels misleading and very unprofessional.
I cannot recommend 12Go and will avoid using them in the future.

Rik DI paid 176 Euro with you for 2 tickets instead of 103 dollar if I had bought directly and easily at the ticketing office.. That’s nearly double and I had to wait 2 hours and go through hassle to get to meet your agent to get the tickets. What a hassle and for too expensive!!

Christian SI booked online but I couldn't get the Tickets on my mobile. I had also to call which was first possible the next day. When we went to the station we had to get physical tickets. But it was not clear where we would get them. The Tourist Police charged us another 20 Pounds to get them
