Very insistent that I put my tiny rucksack with all my possessions under the bus. I refused because I have medicine, water, food and other stuff I need in there. They told me to put it in my handbag but it won’t all fit, hence why I always bring my tiny rucksack on board.
Sedět na motoru v tom teplém počasí je nesnesitelné. Zespod vedro, klimatizace autobusu se nedala uzavřír, takže na tělo mi byla zima. The toilet was unbearable. The door could not be cloused. The stench could be felt in the bus. Toilet paper was missing.
Look, the ride was good. But PRINCIPALLY the stuff people, the driver are very rude!
I hope it changes soon! Because the company has everything to be the best one in Egypt.

However, it was my fault. I did not realize that Nasr City was a specific Go Bus stop in Cairo when what I really needed was a Giza stop in Cairo. Nobody was able to help me, so I ended up simply buying another ticket. Also, purchasing through 12Go instead of Go-Bus directly put my seat in the WORST seat (back row, which does not recline for sleeping). Again, better to pick from Go-Bus directly in order to pick your own seat.

The trip took longer than expected due to a late start and rest times of more than one hour and several other rest stops, all in the same trip. Unfortunately, this meant that we were quite late to start our day in our destination, and that threw us off schedule. Otherwise, the service was very friendly and the cars were excellent. I chose this class of bus for its comfort, but besides the damaged equipment, there are no phone chargers and no TV screens.
And we are arriving 1 hour and 30 minutes late.

Finding the right platform at Cairo station was hard, there were no signs anywhere. The toilets on board were unpleasant and the train was an hour and a half late. I don’t advise anybody to use this method of transport in Egypt

Too many stops. Driver stopped 5 times for cigarette and coffee, 2 times for fuel, because the first place first have the correct kind. 1 time to pee on the dive of the road and 1 time to use a toilet. I asked him not to smoke in the car but he did anyway. Many times I saw him scrolling through photos on his phone while driving.

The 12Go’s subcontractor didnt respond to our email on time. When we arrived the police took us apart and arranged our ticket and send us in the right direction. We were obliged to pay them for their service, we felt not reallu comfortable. When at the platform at Luxor we couldnt read the platform because it was in arabic. The locals (0 tourist on the train) were helpfull, thanks!
The train itself was quite alright, it left only 20 minuts late, the AC worked and it was not that disgusting. However they woke us up 2 times in the middel of the night on a sleeper train) to check our tickets for the second time and pay for the food we bought hours ago…
In the end we were happy everything worked out but I think the bus might be better value for money.
