Mit bisschen Vertrauen, da der Fahrer Sekundenschlaf hatte, ging es. Übermüdete Fahrer sind aber ein generelles Problem in Thailand. Man fühlt sich dann leider sehr hilflos. Er hätte ja problemlos eine Pause machen können - Zeit war genug und wenn man für 11 Menschen verantwortlich ist...
Speedboat mach Koh Tao war dann sehr gut, die Mitarbeitenden super freundlich und die Kommunikation lief perfekt.
Leider sind die einzelnen Reiserouten nicht ersichtlich gewesen. Wie lange fährt man mit dem Van, wie lange fährt man mit dem Boot.
Wo ist die Zwischenstation (Ende mit dem Van, Abfahrt Boot).
Angegebenen wurde Reisezeit von 09:00 Uhr bis 16:00 Uhr. Auf dem Ticket vom Peer stand dann Ankunft 17:00 Uhr und letztendlich sind wir erst um 18:00 Uhr angekommen.
Ursprüngliche Reisezeit von 7 Stunden auf 9 Stunden. Hätten wir das von Anfang gewusst, hätten wir ggf. anders geplant (eine Übernachtung zwischendurch/anderes Reisemittel).
Abholung war sehr pünktlich um 08:55 Uhr an der vereinbarten Stelle.
Got us there with no issues, driver didn’t have very much English and the van didn’t have any separate space for luggage so it was all piled onto two seats.
I booked a single ticket, when I got to the port I was given a ticket but when I boarded the boat the ticket was half of a double bed slot with another guy.
I tried to explain to the people what there wasnt enough room for 2 men let alone it being awkward to share a bed with some other man I don't know.
I had search around for a bed that wasnt in use to try and get my own space for the trip.
Very shitty experience and 12go over charged me, I paid 1250 baht and there was people on the same boat who booked through 12go and paid 850... so they are selling the same ferry for 2 different prices.
The van picked us up from the hotel right on time. It was a smooth trip, just me, my girlfriend, and another girl who ended up becoming a friend.
We only made one stop with the van, at a 7-Eleven, to grab something to eat. After that, the van dropped us off at the pier to catch the ferry.
The ferry has beds, the bathrooms are clean, and there’s even a shower available. For spending a night on a ferry, it was actually better than I expected.
And with the agency, everything was perfect too.

I would like to have received more clarity on the trip. It was by 3 different vans and bus. This was not mentioned in the trip. Also driver was really helpfull by whatsapping the suggested time. This also could be mentioned in the trip info. At last the displayed boat was not the one we travelled with such that this could also be made better
