Abholung per Minivan, dann zu einem Sammelpunkt gebracht, von dort mit dem Reisebus bis zur Fähre. Dort nochmal 45 min Wartezeit, es gab einen Kiosk und Toiletten. Fähre war zügig.
Normally don’t do reviews but felt the need to calm nerves if worried about other reviews.
It was surprisingly good! After reading all the reviews everywhere it was hard not to be worried! The taxi picked us up from the hotel in Ao nang and dropped us at the bus depot in krabi with time to spare, bus to Surat Thani was A/C and comfortable. Had around 2/3 in Surat Thani so went to eat (loads of good places nearby - Milano was super close and tasty!) and then onto the boat! We obviously were quite lucky with the boat being not at all full so we got a nice couple of top bunks with fans and plugs! Slept well and couldn’t really feel the ‘rocking’ boat as described by others but was probably lucky with the weather! Anyway, only complaint is the smoking area outside has a vent next to it that allows the smell to travel into the sleeping area but wasn’t all the time at all so assume the guy smoking just sat blowing into the vent for fun? Anyway, definitely good trip and had little to worry about!

The taxi was great and the taxi driver help me en everything.
You are going to take a taxi, then a van and finally a night boat.
It's okay but the night boat it's not so comfortable so you're not going to rest a lot that night

The pickup communicated clearly the day before and was on time on the day itself. The vehicle was clean and comfortable, not too full and not too cold. The bathroom stop was needed so that was nice, just like we could eat in the car. Only from the moment we were on the pier the communication was a bit bad and the boat trip took longer than they told us.

Easy communication and a well organized trip. The driver picked us up at the right time, and we arrived at the port on time. The ferry got a bit delayed during the trip, but can’t blame someone for that.

Really good, communication was quick and the driver was really good.
Everything went smoothly! Got picked up from my hostel, comfortable ride with a 7 11 stop and received information about the ferry. Ferry arrived around an hour later than planned, no one’s fault but something to keep in mind :)

Pickup was on time, friendly driver, van was comfortable.
Drop off at Lomprayah office, handout of bus and boat tickets went smoothly.
Bus travel was quite comfortable, the A/C was just right (I'm always afraid of too cold A/Cs.)
Boat boarding is a bit chaotic for me, everybody is rushing in, blocking seats, and the second destination passengers, who come a bit later, don't find seats next to each other.
Sure, assigning seat numbers would be too much effort, but at least, please tell people when boarding, that absolutely EACH AMD EVERY seat is fully booked... No 2-in-a-3-row allowed!
The catamaran drive itself, was nice. When the weather is fine, and you have plenty of sunscreen, go on top 👍
If you prefer air conditioned, stay inside...
