Voordelen van reizen per bus

  • De bus is de beste keuze om bestemmingen te bereiken die niet per trein of vliegtuig bereikbaar zijn. Het netwerk van bussen bestrijkt vaak bijna het hele land, en hun routes zijn vaak goed uitgewerkt.
  • In tegenstelling tot vliegreizen en soms treinreizen, hoef je met de bus niet lang van tevoren op het busstation te zijn. Inchecken, zelfs op internationale routes, neemt niet veel tijd in beslag. De toegestane bagage is meestal zeer reizigersvriendelijk, en de vergoeding voor extra bagage, als er beperkingen zijn vastgesteld, is meestal niet erg duur.
  • Bustickets kunnen voordeliger zijn dan vliegtuig- of sneltreintickets. Er is altijd een keuze aan ticketklassen voor alle portemonnees. Niet veel op de begane grond van het busstation, maar ga naar boven naar het café - echte koffiemachine - de man spreekt heel goed Engels en zal blij zijn met het gezelschap... de bus naar Bodrum was laat voor vertrek en een half uur te laat voor aankomst.

Het personeel kan geen duidelijke informatie geven over de bestemming. Zoals eerst gezegd ging deze bus rechtstreeks naar Pamukkale, maar toen we in Denizli aankwamen, vroeg het buspersoneel om over te stappen op het busje naar Pamukkale en toen we in Pamukkale aankwamen, probeerden het personeel en de buschauffeur ons te dwingen om een pakketreis naar Pamukkale te kopen. En zeer slechte ervaring van tour pakket dat ik ooit heb ontmoet!!!

Op het busstation van Antalya werd de boekingsbevestiging niet veranderd in een ticket, de ticketverkoper zei dat hij zo'n bon nog niet eerder had gezien, dus was er gedoe met de chauffeur die ook niet eerder zo'n bevestiging had gezien, maar na een lange discussie stapte ik op de bus.

Geweldig bedrijf! De bussen zijn schoon en ze geven water onderweg. Er is gratis wifi en usb-ingangen om je telefoon op te laden. De klantenservice van Isparta Petrol is uitstekend: we reden de hele nacht van Fethiye naar Göreme, waren erg moe, stapten 's morgens vroeg uit bij het busstation en vergaten onze telefoon (!) in de bus. De bus was comfortabel, maar verder was het geen plezierige reis. De bus verliet het vertrekstation 40 minuten te laat en kwam 1u30 later dan gepland aan op de bestemming (wat voor mij een domino-effect had voor de rest van de dag). De wifi werkte niet. De chauffeurs rookten de hele tijd in de bus, en het belangrijkste was dat ze geen maskers droegen tijdens de pandemie, en toch overal hoesten. Ik voelde me erg ongemakkelijk.
