Interbus SpA

Palermo-Syracuse.

Genius=Map on the bus ticket dowload. Traveling.com download included a map which tickets bought direct from the interbus site don't ; this is invaluable! Trip to Noto was seamless but the return was sweaty as air con was absent. Lack of air conditioning on the return trip detracted from the experience.

Hilly route at end with hairpin bends. One or two people on board feeling car sick. The train is a very good option followed by a short taxi ride.

I was extremely dissatisfied with the trip. The bus didn't go directly to Catania Airport. Instead, it made a long detour through downtown Catania, picking up passengers there before returning to the highway. I checked Google Maps and found that for the bus to arrive at the airport at the scheduled time, it had to factor in the time it took to get on and off at stations along the route (such as Taormina Train Station, meaning it didn't include downtown Catania). Furthermore, traffic in downtown Catania was incredibly chaotic and congested, causing the bus to arrive over 40 minutes later than expected. This prevented me from checking in at the scheduled time, and I missed my flight. My experience wasn't unique to this bus. I'm not sure if this route to downtown Catania was designed that way or if the driver was simply picking up passengers to enrich himself. I'm also not sure if Catania's traffic has always been this way.

Easy to book online the day before. Great trip and good driver. Excellent at dealing with crowds trying to push on.

Everything went as it should. Clean and on time.

they accepted me on the previous bus leaving Syracuse to reach Catania's airport, since I arrived earlier than expected.

We tra. We travelled from Palermo to Syracuse. The bus left on time (in fact 3 minutes early), it was clean and comfortable. We stopped at a service station for a 10 minute comfort break around half way and arrived at Syracuse ahead of schedule. We were very happy with the journey.

Lovely way to travel. Fast , good views dotting up high.

Good service. Punctuality.

A little bit cold inside, too short break (10 minutes).

wonderful driver. the ease of travel.

Noto to airport. Everything went smoothly, bus was on time and would be happy to book again . No signage at Bus station for English speaking passengers.

Price at the limit of fairness, very poor conditions. The price was right, a little more and it wouldn't make sense. I'd even say that if it cost one euro more, it wouldn't make sense any more. The bus didn't arrive at the scheduled time, the interior of the bus was old and dirty, many of the seats were damaged so it wasn't possible to cancel the recline. The seat belts have probably never been cleaned since the bus was bought and entered the company's service.

Good connection with loo stops. Fast and safe. All good.

Get by bus service.

Trip to Airport. Comfortable. Poor organisation. No signs as to where the bus would arrive. Bus was late. No queuing. Lots of confusion and panic as to whether everyone would be able to get on the bus.

Bus dirty but the price helps. The price. Bus super dirty, full of dust and other things. Benches probably where never vacuumed and the floor vroomed.

Interbus. Staff at ticket booth were helpful . Bus was 20 minutes late so were worried we had missed it.

Could be cheaper, but it's ok. Acceptable conditions, good driving, bus not full. Bus departs 5m before scheduled departure time. There is no bus station so be prepared for rain or extreme sun.

The bus was late by 15-20 minutes.

I cannot change ticket, I late for my booked bus because information about bus stop wasn’t clear. So I lost 5 euro.

Visiting Noto. The trip to Noto was so easy using the Getbybus site. The bus was prompt and allowed us to enjoy the countryside in comfort. We spent about three hours in Noto, of course visiting Caffè Sicilia for a lovely almond granita and brioche and exploring the local shops and enjoying the friendly people.

Great journey. Ease of transport and good timing.

T to S. Ease of journey to arrive in Siracusa to continue our trip.

Schedule good, direct route. No information provided by driver for mid stop, no time specified.

very prompt and easy way to travel. highly recommend from an english speaking perspective. very prompt. stopped half way through for a bathroom break. there’sa sign that says free wifi but then it requires login.

The bus I caught was either the )($) running 20 minutes late, or the 1010 leaving 10 minutes early..

Verspätung ca. 15 Minuten. Geringe Beinfreiheit.

On time and a very pleasant ride. Comfortable. Lots to see. 10 minute stop was not enough. The shop was very crowded. No time to buy something and also use the toilette. Could not see a sign for WC.

Traveling in Sicily. The driver was professional and left promptly so that our arrival was at the time promised. The stop at the airport was right outside the departure gates which made it extremely convenient. I don’t like that I had find a place under the bus by lifting the storage compartments’ doors in order to load and unload my own luggage. As a woman over the age of 45 who has traveled often and alone with children, I have never had this issue before.

I was very impressed by the bus journey! The driver was excellent! The journey smooth!

The bus service was good and on time, great value for money. The service was as expected, great value for money. The driver's could be a bit more opened minded when asked questions from tourists. They were more concerned about the local people they knew than the rest of us. Said thanks, no response when getting off the bus.

Punctuality in the morning. The bus did not have a bathroom or usb charger like the bus I took the opposite way.

Day trip from Catania to Siracusa. I think booking on the getbybus was easy and efficient, I am impressed, the busses in Sicily depart on time and pretty much arrive's on time. Good value and it is an affordable way to travel around Sicily.

Very easy to navigate site and easy to take the bus. Also was very affordable!

Cheap and simple to the airport. The bus was easy to find, the published timings were to the minute and compared to the alternatives it was really cheap. I'd call that a bargain.

Exceeded expectations! A really comfortable and affordable trip, would recommend it to anyone.

Excellent value. Good value for money and very convenient to where we were staying. Friendly and helpful driver. We had to ask around to find out if we could get on the bus at a stop closer to where we were staying. The only option on given on the location drop down menu was travel from Giardini-Naxos bus station.

Trip to airport. We arrived at the bus station early as the weather was awful and there was no issue in getting the earlier transfer. Nothing - very smooth journey and process.

OK, but there are possible improvements. The bus was on time at arrival in the airport. The driving was fairly comfortable. Small luggage compartment Difficult to find exact location of bus stop in Syracuse Bus did not stop at terminal C in Catania airport, had to walk outside in heavy rain from terminal A to C. Missing seat belt in our seats Driver dit not assist with luggage.

Arrived early. The bus left 30 min early! I just walked up in time. You need to get your ticket on line, you can't buy one on the bus from the driver, but maybe you can use your phone.7 You can't be sure of the ticket booth being open to buy one in siracusa. Don't bother with interbus website, use getbybus.

Amazing driving skills. On time.

Great scenery , fast stop. On time, great scenery , short stop. Bus location hard to find at the station Intercity bus sign inside the train station would help.

Disappointed in drop off location. In general all went well. Bus ride was comfortable. The bus did not drop us off at the bus station as expected. Had we known this, we would have taken the train which was more frequent, faster and cheaper. We only took the bus to avoid being dropped off at the train station which then require finding a bus ride up to the town. We wound up doing anyway and the Internet bus never showed up at the time specified. We ended up paying for a local bus.

Everything perfect!

We used getbybus for the first time.. but not for the last time. Great! Simple and uncomplicated booking.

The bus was on time and clean the driver very polite. The bus the driver the rrliability.

Comfortable and reliable. The bus turned up on time, boarded passengers efficiently, left on time, stopped once for comfort / food break and arrived on time. What's not to like? All fine.

Perfect. The driver was polite and helpful.
