Nishita SI had a very disappointing experience with 12GoAsia. I have visited Vietnam before, but this was my first time travelling solo here, so I was particularly dependent on the bus staff for clear instructions and a safe drop-off.
The attendant completely failed to communicate the stops. Multiple passengers, including me, asked him where we should get down, but he kept ignoring us. Eventually, another driver spoke to him and I was told to get down, being told that it was the last stop for the Old Quarter, which it clearly wasn't.
I had no cash and had to find an ATM, after which the taxi driver quoted me VND 150,000 for a journey that was barely 10 minutes away. Grab showed the fare would have been around VND 40,000–60,000. When I questioned the amount, the driver became aggressive.
The issue here is not just the taxi driver — it is One2Go Asia's failure to properly inform and assist passengers. I have travelled with HK Bus before, and their service was excellent; they clearly announce upcoming stops so passengers can prepare.
For a solo female traveller in an unfamiliar country, this kind of irresponsible and unprofessional service is unacceptable. I hope One2Go Asia takes responsibility and considers a full refund for this experience.

Qian WGreat, safe. but when we got on the bus, we could tell that the air conditioning of the bus emitted a very mild odour. My friends’ and my throat and eyes after the trip were slightly uncomfortable.

Fadi AThe journey from Sa Pa to Hanoi took seven hours, whereas it was supposed to take no more than six and a half. It included a stop at the airport—which was not part of the selected itinerary—and followed a different route.

Muhammad Booked the bus from Sapa to Hanoi. Bus was clear and on time. Had a toilet so we didn’t need to make too many stops. Arrived at Hanoi 15min early. Happy with the service

Finn PWe arrived in Sa Pa with transportation to our hotel and the trip back to Hanoi also worked out fine. However the staff was quite rude and did not really make attempts to communicate with the guests. On the way back we were meant to make a stop in the middle of the trip but simply didn’t. But the bus cabin was comfortable and the journey worked out at the end. We were able to sleep too. The WiFi and usb ports also only worked half of the time. The toilet was operational and okay as well. You just can’t expect great customer service and communication.

Brigitte The departure was quite hectic. Got moved to another bus. Found people in our beds who also got moved and didn’t know about it. More people got onto the wrong bus at first because they didn’t know they got allocated to a different bus. And the toilets on ground floor were too gross to elaborate. When I asked if rheee were any other toilets they replied upstairs. That was a great relief. Otherwise I would have preferred to use the street as my toilet. However the bus ride was GREAT. Very Comfortable bed. And only woke up when we were at our destination.
