Nice view from the train. Great landscape. Good service. Unfortunately the air conditioning was very strong, so I had a cold afterwards. Train arrived with 2 hours delay.

Train #1016 1st Class Seat, Sri Lanka Railways, Mar 26, 2019
Great train ride. Well worth doing. Whilst our train wasn't overly full we saw one going the other way which barely had standing room only in the 2nd and 3rd class so worthwhile getting 1st class. Service from 12GO was great with tickets confirmed a couple of weeks out and delivered to us by our pickup from the airport. Highly recommend.
