Watch out for the “deaf” guy scam. Looks official to guide you to the correct carriage but then want to to sign his sponsor form and give 1000 lkr

All went very well. Easy to book our tickets on-line. And the tickets themselves were delivered to our hotel in Colombo the day before we arrived.

User-friendly and efficient booking service for the Viceroy II luxury train trip to Kandy. Ticket was readily accepted at Colombo Fort station without any hiccups whatsoever. Highly recommended.

Great! The driver was on time and the van was comfortable. He found us a nice clean restaurant with good bathrooms and tasty food, good to stretch our legs.

Train #Viceroy II #1007 VIP AC, ViceRoy II by 12Go (Viceroy II by 12Go), Dec 10, 2019
We had the whole carriage to ourselves between Colombo and Peradenya. The carriage definitely needs updating starting with a fresh coat of pain on the exterior as initially I though it was a freight car. The interior seats were very much worn out and lighting was so dim that made the whole experience quite depressing. For the price, it definitely not worth it.

Train #1029 Observation class, Sri Lanka Railways, Nov 21, 2019
Train ride was beautiful and we got tickets right at the back of the carriage very back of the train very cool to see everything, massive glass windows. Worth paying for first class for the air con! Thought I’d paid for delivery to hotel but was told I hadn’t... Luckily noticed this prior to arrival as 12go had emailed and I checked with the hotel. After additional payment the Tickets were delivered prior to our arrival. All in all good service would use again
