For all my fellow travelers: this is a really good way to travel the eastcoast. The train is super punctual and it’s easy to find your seat. There is a warm meal, snacks and drinks you can purchase. I‘d recommend getting a bed because it can get quite uncomfortable being in a seat for such a long time. The landscape views between Da Nang and Hue are incredible. You will not miss your stop for there are announcements in English and the staff will also check in with you over time. Cons: the beds are too small for western people and the toilets are dirty.
