Carrie GThis company let's itself down with it's poor communication and time management expectations. I book at 3.30 bus and I expect it to leave at 3.30, not for the hotel pick-ups to start at 3.30. We eventually left Ha Giang at 5.15 - nearly 2 hours after I expected it to leave, so not surprisingly, we got into Cao Bang 2 hours late.
The vehicle is old and battered so that will affect the comfort levels but to be fair, the tickets don't cost much and the company must struggle to make enough money to renew their fleet.

Anna LThe worst bus experience I’ve had in Vietnam. About 30 minutes outside of Ha Giang, smoke started emerging from the radiator. Instead of sending a new vehicle immediately, the journey continued in this unsafe vehicle with the driver stopping to pour water in every 30 minutes as the overheating continued. Air con was mostly not available during this, and the window was rattling badly despite being a “luxury” vehicle. After about 2 hours we did change to a new bus. The few stops that were made had very unsanitary conditions. The driver tried to make us get out quite far from the booked destination, but did eventually agree to take us to our accommodation. The whole journey took 11 hours instead of 7. I would not travel with this company again.
