All great and on time, only problem was that we were told to go to the pier which had an earlier boat departing from it than the one we were meant to get. You’d think that’s a bonus but as some of the family went straight away to the pier when called, and one came 5 mins after, in that time the boat had departed (as it was an earlier boat) and we were separated for the trip. All ok in the end and reunited in koh phangan but I think operator needs to explain that there are multiple boats if sending people to the pier early and there is a risk of not being on the right boat.
Minivan was too full, 14 people on small seats, very hot very little airco or fresh air. Lot of stops and an hour of waiting in Surattani. Boat was fine
The driver from Khao Sok to Surat Thani was constantly on his phone. I didn't always feel safe. In addition the car was too hot, the AC didn't work properly.
First part of the trip was in an overcrowded minivan with luggage. That was really uncomfortable and not safe in case of anyrhing would happen. The 2nd en 3rd part in a big bus and ferry was fine.
too many people and stuff in the bus, and annoying driver, unfriendly to people, actually just rude. Second part of the bus ride was better with big coach.
Phantip was very organized, everybody at the Khao Sok Bus/Van station got a sticker with the final destination. The first stop was in Surat Thani, after that we were brought to the pier. All in all pleasant experience with Phantip.
