Поїздка пройшла чудово. Гарний мікроавтобус доставив нас до головної автостоянки, де ми придбали квитки на подальшу поїздку. Негативним було те, що жінка і водій були нещасні і в дуже поганому настрої!

Trip was fine. Nice van took us to the main van area and purchased tickets for forward travel. Negative was the lady and driver were both miserable and in very bad moods!

I got on a first mini bus that took me to another bus station, where I waited around 30 minutes for another mini bus to start.
I don’t recommend if you are in a hurry. As I was aware this could happen, it did not bother me. We got there in the end !

З Бангкока до Аюттхая можна дістатися на автобусі, але вас привезуть на автовокзал для пересадки на мікроавтобус (без будь-яких усних пояснень).
Ми приїхали за 30 хвилин, а магазин ще був зачинений за 5 хвилин до відправлення, але врешті-решт ми виїхали точно в заброньований час

It does take you from Bangkok to Ayutthaya, but you will be brought to a bus station for a mini van transfer (without any verbal explanation however)
We were there 30 minutes in advance and the shop was still closed until 5 min before dept. time, but in the end we left precisely at the booked time
Long story short, we got there as promised but don’t expect any explanation/service apart from the vans.

The bus did not go to the City Park. Instead, it dropped us off at some bus stop on Naresuan Road telling us to leave. That was very strange.

It was a minibus, we had enough space for luggage, driver took a few longer breaks which was delaying the short drive quite a bit. Otherwise he told us when to get off the bus and everything worked out great.

The departure was on time but we arrived later than scheduled. The minivan was comfortable and had air conditioner but not boot space for luggage storage.

we didn’t have any space to put our legs (rolled on the seat for the whole journey) and the driver didn’t stop us at the right address
however it was approximatively on time and the AC was good
