Kaylynn TThe experience as a solo woman traveler was really good! I felt super safe. The only recommendation I would have as since it’s a shorter trip and sleep is limited. More info on the immigration process would’ve been helpful, as after the first stop of getting a stamp I thought that was it and got ready to sleep again. If I knew we were leaving the bus and taking our stuff off 2 minutes later I would’ve been more prepared. Instead of just giving direction, a rundown of the process for first timers would be super helpful especially since people will be groggy.

Mario NThe bus was actually okay. But the problem came when I booked for a single sleeper room but they put me out with someone else. Imagine sleeping with a stranger? That’s just horribly scary.
They also insisted that I was mistaken when I booked but no, I have been traveling a lot and I understand how seating arrangement looks like. And mind you, it wasn’t only me who had similar problem, there were like three or four passengers as well who complained that they were placed on a double room when in fact they booked for single room. So, I am wondering if whose problem it was, the bus company or the booking platform?

harassed me via WhatsApp, 40 minutes before the departure time to tell me to hurry up and get to the bus station because the minivan had to leave.
We arrived, departed and stopped after 15 minutes, in a huge restaurant & coffee shop complex to 'recharge' the battery.
We were told it was a 40 minute stop but it turned into 1.5 hours.
I had an AirTag in my luggage and when I searched for it, I could see the minivan was nowhere near the 'charging' spot.
Our luggage does not have locks, I have no idea if our bags were opened or not.
I phoned the company and was told not to worry, which was not reassuring at all. I was separated from luggage the entire time.
It feels like a scam; first of all to force passengers to buy expensive unwanted drinks (there is nothing else to do) and second of all because the minivan disappeared with our luggage.
When the driver finally returned, he drove like a man possessed - presumably to make up time - and we were braking, swerving and overtaking pretty much everything.
I did not feel safe and I would suggest avoiding this company completely, especially as they do not have a formal complaints procedure.
In addition, the seat belts did not work.
For reference, we were on the 09:15, 13- seater van from Kampong Thom to Siem Reap, July 19th 2026.
The van registration ended in 192.

Florae DThis is the most uncomfortable type of sleeper bus I’ve ever been in. I’m in a lower bunk. No windows, very tight space, I could not even sit up and I’m only 5’4 in height. It honestly felt like a coffin there. The good thing is it smelled nice and felt clean. The bus operators were nice too. Their physical office only accepts cash payment.

Andrew HUnfortunately our van was cancelled but they did tell us the night before and did put us on the next van altgough that did leave 45mins late. Unlike our driver on the way here this one was great, he did not use the horn much or his phone and drove smoothly and safely.

Andrew HWe arrived to get the transport but could not find it. Eventually, the company told us we had been booked on a van at a time that did not exist! They kindly put us on the one 2 hours later. The trip was ok. The driver was a little heavy on the horn, speed and brakes! He also texted and looked at his phone throughout which probable explained why he needed to slam on the brakes. However, we did arrive in one piece.

Susan TThe bus office was easy to find. The organisation at the office was busy but organised. The bus left a little late due to rain and rush hour traffic’s, so unavoidable. The transfer from the bus to the sleeper bus was easy, even in the torrential rain.
The sleep bus had a longer cabin than others we gave used in our travels so you could stretch out on a flat mattress, which was comfortable.
It was a bit inconvenient to be woken up to go through border control so my advice is to choose your bus time carefully. But in general all was good and you can’t avoid border control.
The bus drivers were safe and the temperature on the bus was moderate so probably suited the majority of people.

Saga MBeds were taller than expected, could stretch out just completely (180 cm). Aircon worked well and we did not have to change bus in Phnom Penh before continuing to Siem Reap. Personnel on the bus were very helpful throughout immigration. Most people get to share bed with someone which was okey but not ideal, also all bedding were not changed for the new people who got on the bus in Phenom Penh.

Estera JThe driver was unfortunately hitting the breaks super suddenly very often and then speeding afterwards. Made me nauseous and unable to fall asleep. The bus seats were hard and not the most comfortable, I had back pain after a few hours.
The bus overall was modern and clean, the AC worked very well too. We had a 30min break for lunch and another break later for the bathroom, so no complaints there :))

Ida LGreat company, helps you over the border! The beds aren’t the most comfortable and I didn’t know when I booked that you share a bed with a stranger. Should be better informed about this.

Maria VActually it was a terrible experience because I was freezing all night and couldn't sleep or relax at all. I even used 2 other covers from another bed but we're of no help. Those covers that you call "blankets" don't keep you warm because of the type of material that is very cold and with the A/C so high it was like being inside a freezer. Even my foot big toe lost blood circulation at it took me a long time to reactivate blood flow.
Now I understand why the locals were thick jackets and warm pants to sleep on the bus, the temperatures are horribly cold and they know that.
It's sad that they waste so much energy during the night in the buses when the sun is not out and there is no need for freezing cold A/C all night.
Besides that, the space available to sleep in the single bed is very tight and the top part is used for all the A/C vents and controls which I couldn't shut completely, so my head was exposed to all the leaked cold air all night. Unfortunately it's a terrible experience not to be repeated, wasted night and wasted money.
By the way, I even forgot my nice sleep eye mask in the bed and it would be nice to recover if it's possible. Thank you.

Ron ZBus ride was very comfortable and the driver as well as the support staff at Battambang was great. I only expected to be dropped off at the Airport (as I booked as far as I knew) but the bus wasn't going all the way. Luckely the driver dropped me of as close by as he could.
