Right after booking and payment, i received an email from the transport company saying the departure would be one hour later. That’s not too comfy when you plan further transportation. Anyway, the driving was good except that driver was honking the horn nearly every ten seconds. Great surprise was, that the bus drove us directly front our hotel which was far off track. This was really nice.
Driver and guide were both very friendly, always smiling and explaining where we go next. The seats are really comfortable and the pick up was punctual. They deopped me of right in front of my hotel - 10/10!
Overall this was a good experience. We had booked a van, but ended up traveling in a minibus instead — which actually turned out to be more comfortable than expected, so no complaints there.
Departure was right on time, which we appreciated. However, we did arrive later than scheduled, as we had to wait for the ferry crossing. This wasn't really the operator's fault, just something to be aware of when planning your arrival time in Cat Ba.
Overall a smooth and comfortable journey.
They were full for the requested time so shifted us to an earlier bus. We did book last minute. The bus was older and larger than expected but seats were very comfy and the ride was smooth. Ferry was easy and they dropped us at our hotel even tho it wasn't on cat ba town.
The first bus smelt but was a decent. The second bus was alright but a bit dirty. The third transport was TERRIBLE. We were sent a 6 seater car to take 6 people (and luggage) but you forgot that the driver was the 7th person, so there was not enough room for all of us. The couple who was with us had to sit on their legs. It was lucky that one of the couples spoke English because the drivers were not helpful at all. We were not happy with your service or drivers at all.
