Bad experience. The driver was a nice decent guy. Left at 8, scheduled 7:30. Many stops. My bags were ruined. Mud, marks, dents, how can this happen by just putting the bag right there from the street into the van? I am amazed. We had to change to another van an hour away from Skopje Macedonia. The smell of diesel did not go away, perhaps from leaking inside? These type of marshutka trips come with expectations but this was really difficult. Most of the morning trips listed are actually the same 1 van. I don't know why they list them under different companies.
Ride of suprised. It was a good ride from Tirana to Budva, instead of a bus we has a minivan (not sure if this is usual or exception) and driver was good and fast. Had to pay extra 5,00€ for terminal, bag (even I didn't hve one) and maybe service fee? Overall good company to ride with.
Great trip! I had an excellent bus journey from Budva to Tirana! The vehicle felt brand new—extremely comfortable and spotlessly clean throughout. The driver was fantastic: confident, professional, and most importantly, drove safely while still getting us to our destination ahead of schedule. Communication from the provider was clear and smooth from start to finish. Overall, a truly pleasant and stress-free experience. I highly recommend this service to anyone traveling the route!
Got there in the end. The bus left on time. Staff were unfriendly. Got charged 5 Euros at the beginning on top of the ticket price, which included a luggage fee of 2 Euros (which is acceptable), but I don't know what the rest was supposed to be for. It wasn't one bus ride, had to change halfway, where the journey continued on another bus (where I had to pay for luggage again), operated by a different company. At least this was a propper bus. The first one wasn't even a Minibus, it was a Van with uncomfortable seats. The driver played loud music throughout the journey and was on the phone a couple of times. Got to the destination in the end, although one hour late.
Very comfortable & safe drive, friendly driver. It was a very comfortable ride. I had experienced very bad bus rides in Albania, so I expected another bad driving here too, but actually it was one of the best rides during my trip. The bus was small but relatively new and clean, and didn't smell like another old buses. I usually get car sick but I didn't this time. The driver was kind too. No particularly.
Viaje desde Tirana a Skopke. La compañía contratada era Diamand Travel, viajamos en una van de la compañía "IDO TRAVEL". Salimos con demora, el conductor freno en varias oportunidades (entre ellas para dejar paquetes), viajo fumando gran parte del camino, escuchando música fuerte y hablando con otros pasajeros en voz alta. Al rato de haber partido, freno a cenar.. A mitad de noche hicimos un cambio de minivan (siendo que no estaba especificado en ningún lado hacer un transbordo). Este último conductor muy amable.
Unexpected fee, travel via minibus. Driver: he was so friendly, his communication is perfect, and whenever we need extra time for break, he accepted Airco: Not hot not cold. nice temperature in the car Fast: They use minibuses for the trip, it was comfortable- Stuff at the terminal: They are rude, and charged everybody different. Charged us with unexpected fee… I learnt later, other paid less than us. When I asked them the details and took photos, they pushed me to delete them. - Music at the minibus: Sometimes fun sometimes loud :).
Never again! I had a very unsafe and unpleasant experience with this driver. During the ride, he smoked inside the car, played music at ridiculously high volumes (despite being asked to turn it down more than 4 times), and constantly talked on his phone while driving. He was also texting without wearing a seatbelt and drove at dangerously high speeds, taking curves recklessly. Honestly, it felt like riding with a teenager who just got their driver’s license days ago, not a professional driver, on a 4-hour trip. I do not recommend this driver for safety reasons.
Worst Bus Ride EVER! Buyer Beware. I am confident that €45 was the cheapest way to get to athens. The trip was supposed to last 11 hours. Instead it was closer to 16! The bus driver played loud music the whole trip and was constantly yelling at riders. Especially forigneirs that didn't understand him. Ive got videos of him yelling on the bus incessantly and proof of my ticket. Also even though I booked with diamant I rode with star.
There was a problem with the booking. Our group managed to travel together in the end but one of our group was not in the list and we were going to get split up even though we were all in the same trip. There was a lot of confusion. I also did not expect for the journey to be in a private vehicle but a coach but this may be my misplaced expectation.
The company was very correct and helpful, the driver too. Everything was on the correct place. Was an incredible trip and the fastes one.the driver was very polite .
The driver was nice and friendly. The two women at the ticket booth were absolutely disgusting. They were scamming tourists to pay extra money for tickets and illegally pocketing extra cash. They said they would fuck my mother, my entire family, and my bloodline. They tried to steal from me. They name called me and other customers. They have severe anger issues and are mentally unstable scumbags. They threatened to post me online. They harassed my personal whatsapp with messages and threatened to call the bus driver and have my little sister and I dropped off on the side of the road in the middle of nowhere. That is harassment. They also discriminated against customers and were very racist. 0/10 do not recommend.
The journey on the ticket stated it would take around 12 hours but in reality took around 17 hours. I lkied the offer of water bottles on the trip as it was a hot day. I also liked the 2 stops for meals. The driver was very helpful and allowed me to charge my iphone on his dashboard late in the evening while he was driving and I liked the wifi access. The length of time the trip would take was too underestimated as the time was over 50% more than what was on the ticket. We were told we would arrive around 6.30pm and we ended up arriving around 1.00am. Please let your staff know a more accurate time of arrival so we can better prepare next time.
Never again. We did finally arrive, but at the wrong station, several hours late, and through a different bus company. First, Get By Bus sold us a ticket for a bus that didn't exist. We were supposed to arrive in Ioanina town station at 10 pm. We got to our departure bus station an hour early to then be shuffled to another bus station and put on a Top-line bus (not Diamant Travel) that went to Ioanina airport, not Ioanina town. We were literally dumped by the side of the road at 11:45pm. Thankfully, our hotel sent a taxi to collect us at midnight. Overall, this was a poor experience across the board - every single party misled us along the way.
Complaint file. I am about to submit a formal complaint for this ride due to the following mishaps that made my bus journey unbearable: -Even though it was advertised as direct line I had to change bus TWO TIMES and then again change the bus at the Border. Since I carried heavy luggage I was unprepared and it was a struggle. -The last Third bus was unacceptable: no toilet as advertised, seatbelts not working, seats defect, and extremely filthy, evidence will be submitted. - had spent a month in Homeoffice in Albania and thus travels heavily. The first bus change the driver unloaded my luggage without asking as I was unaware I had to change. I spotted last minute that my printer was left in the last bus. The driver tossed it and by his carelessness the bag broke. This was extremely inconvenient as I needed to somehow shift my luggage another two times. -The bus left too late and arrived too late due to border or traffic but due to the changes -the drivers did initially not accept the QR code.
