Comfortable bus, only 8 minutes late (could be worse, i guess). No clarity at the bus station about location of arrival of the bus (which perron) and expected departure time.
Space for improvement. I could order tickets via internet. An extra ticket (for checking the actual ticket, sic!) was asked at the station which meant extra time and money (1 euro per person). The bus was 30 minutes late. There was no clarity when the bus would arrive and where at the station the bus would stop.
The bus was 1 hour late leaving Herceg- Novi so I missed my next bus to Shkoder. I had to buy anothe. It was easy to book and good value. The bus left 1 hour late and so I missed my next connection to Shkoder Albania. I had to buy another ticket. So I think I should get a credit for this.
I had a small hand luggage bag with me, the driver, through a subordinate, told me to check it in as luggage and pay money for it! The bus has a special luggage compartment for things, why should I pay for it?
I was schocked by the rudeness of the worker at the station in Podgorica. I would be really pleased if you sort out the way the workers behave at the Podgorica bus station. I was schocked by the rudeness of the workers at the station in Podgorica. I was charged 3 Euro for printing out my tickets. The cashier gave me 2 bills, which showed 2 Euro purchase. I asked why I was charged 3 Euro instead of 2, like it was written in the bill but the workers didn't want to explain anything and I was sent away in a rude way. Then, I went to the manager and asked the same question. She responded that I have bought my ticket ILLEGALY (because I made a purchase online) and the station worker is doing me a favour, printing the tickets out. I asked whether I could talk to the head manager, and I got that in respond "That is ME-the head manager". After that I asked for her name and she refused in a very rude way. Then this lady talked to the co-workers, which blocked the way to the station and all of them were loudly humiliating us, using impolite gestures as well. It was a very unpleasant experience and I'm schocked by the way people behave.
More? When they checked our tickets they wanted 1 euro a person for staton taxes. Then the guy that is the co driver asked for each bag that he placed in the compartment 1 euro. It’s not the amount , it’s the way of thinking.
Extra costs. That we were able to get tickets and that the buses went fairly on time. There are extra costs in Montenegro - you have to pay to boarder at the busstation and you have to pay for them carrying your luggage in the both. So the actual proce is raised with at least 3 eu pr person.
Get by bus driver and bus okey , only everyone did not fit in one bus sothere came this minibus. Scenes. I did not like that you have to print your ticket on paper !!!! What on earth. Last year it was not like this . We were 3 adults , printing costed 4 euroa ? Our friends 2 adults got their printing for 2 euro? Our luggage were 2 hours deposit , we took them there 10.35 and got back 12.35 , man says its 3 hours !!! Not big money but i dont like that kind of attitude and thats not gonna get new tourists to Montenegro . And you buy tickets on line but still pay some bus station money to get to the bus !!! Does not sound year 2024 !!
Easy, great experience. Comfortable ride, driver did everything he could to stay on schedule. Igalo Sportski Centar pickup location is not accurate. Pickup was across the street a block down the road. We almost missed the bus, having to run to catch it. Need a sign for pickup location.
It is scandalous that the driver requires a printout of a ticket purchased online. In fact, the station attendant is charging a hardship for printing it. In Cetinje there was no WiFi at the station, so it was not even possible to send the ticket. Only when I got angry and started speaking in Russian did the driver get scared and let us get on.
Got on the wrong bus. Bus driver checked my ticket and let me on the bus that was going to Podgorica instead of budva. When I realised I was going in the wrong direction they let me off the bus in the middle of the motorway where I had to walk back for 45minutes To the bus station. I then had to buy a new ticket to budva!
Bus was late for 3+ hours and at the bus station in Budva nobody gave us info about it until we called the company AloExpress by ourselves and got very rude answer: "we ate at the bar" Date of travel 7th Aug Bus was supposed to come at 11:15 and it came after 2pm.
Mobile tickets not accepted in Montenegro and Herceg novi bus station staff member very angry. Bus left on time but were ready to wait for us as we had to get our tickets printed ecen though they were supposed to be mobile tickets. It doesn't make any sense to print tickets if you have them on your phone. That's just pure waste which we all should avoid.
