The journey was due to take 4 hours in total . The bus driver was making great time but unfortunately made a number of stops for his own reasons and therefore delayed the whole journey. Not even sure what the stops were for as he would disappear off and then reappear but we would all be left on the bus. At one stage he ripped off what looked like a bus permit .

Die Fahrt und der Fahrer an und für sich waren gut, aber wir waren fast 1 Stunde später am Ziel. Stau um und in Bangkok und wir mussten unseren Flieger erreichen..
The return trip with this company was a major letdown compared to the way there.
We had to leave the pier at 9:00 AM just to arrive at the station by 9:10 AM, only for the connecting bus to depart at 10:00 AM—a completely pointless 50-minute waste of time. To top it off, the bus itself was in terrible condition. The entire journey was filled with an annoying, constant squeaking from either the transmission or the suspension. At least we made it back safely.
