Bus was super nice, you could lay seats down a lot and it was really comfortable. You also get a blanket and some food.
The only thing was that no one understood English which made communication nearly impossible and we had a really terrible experience at the border to Laos where the bus wouldn’t wait for us while we got our visa done so we were ‘kicked off’ and had to take a taxi the rest of the way.
The process of getting on the boat was pure carnage. Everyone was just kept out in the burning sunshine with no shade. No queue, just mass of people pushing their way through the turnstyles. Boat ride was fine except there's not enough seats and nowhere to put your luggage. Worst part was at the ferry port in Donsak where no-one seemed to know which bus was going to each place. Again left on the road with no shade for about an hour before the buss arrived. Ended up sitting on the floor over the wheel which was very uncomfortable. Just an all round very badly organised travel day.
My journey went as scheduled & to plan, smooth & efficient.
I paid the company delivered thats all you can ask for.
The condition of the toilets could of been considerably better I decided not to use them.
The ferry has enough seats for all passengers and was on time but is in poor condition.
The transfer from the port to the bus terminal was badly communicated and negligent. A lot of people had to stand while driving in an open trailer. We arrived 1 hour late just because everyone was confused about which bus he or she shoud hop on. The staff itself was confused and couldn't really help.
