The way you’re welcomed when picking up your ticket, the lady who walks you to the bus—and then the way the baggage handler and other staff acted like total jerks. Before my stop at Hoi An Hospital, the guy came over and kicked me to let me know we were arriving; I packed my things, and then, right before the stop, he did the exact same thing! I told him in Dutch, "What a dick you are!" They basically just threw me out; it was raining, and they wanted to dump me onto the street without giving me a chance to even put my shoes on. I made a point of sitting on the entrance steps to put on my sneakers, and my bag was tossed out of the luggage compartment straight into the water! The hospitality I’m used to here in Vietnam was nowhere to be found!! There also was no use of the usb to charge my phone
The 12Go bus time is wrong and the actual time of the bus was 14:30 (they emailed me to get to location for pickup for 13:50). It actually arrived at 15:00. The bus smelt of urine, the driver drove in circle round one town for an hour, and we didn’t get dropped off at An bang beach like we had booked.

Toilets at toilet stops well below average where western women could not go. Smelled and dirty. The conductors rude. Also We are both over 60 but gave the young ones the lower bunks and made us sit up the top which at our age is very hard to climb up.

As a westerner woman in her 50s I found it tight just walking up the aisle which is only about 30cm wide as there are 3 rows of sleeper beds and 2 aisles between each row. I’m also too inflexible getting in and out of the bottom bed and would’ve preferred a bus that just had normal seats not beds. But if you’re young, flexible and slim it might suit you. I liked the curtains for privacy once in your cubicle seat area. Announcements only in Vietnamese not English. For toilets, lunch and next stop. I used my Google maps app to figure out when to get off along the route.
We booked a royal cabin, and it was worth it. We got our own individual sleeping alcoves that were large enough for the entire family (we're between 180 and 187 cm).
It was cool and, thanks to drapea and shades, dark so we managed to sleep - even though the roads are bumpy and people here honk incessantly. But that's just how things work here and it's in no way a complaint.
The staff was extremely helpful and conveyed all necessary information to us despite us not being able to speak Vietnamese: such a thing that you have to remove your shoes when ending the bus and are supplied with slippers at stops.
All in all a superb experience, extra thanks for picking us up at our hotel!
The bus was very comfortable and efficient. The communication was challenging at times with limited English

The service was good however the check-in instructions were lacking leading to a last minute dash. Additionally the bus didn't match the pictures much. Still would use again because they worked well and got me where I needed to be.
The part that sucked is the waiting at a gas/petrol station with minimal facilities and no clear sign this was the way station for a bus stop. I guess VIP is misleading since perhaps the bus was the only VIP from the whole experience
