Jan RWe deliberately booked hotel to hotel as we had a sim, knowledge or ability to arrange transport at the destination especially. After much messing 12Go did agree to our contractual terms but tried to collect us at the wrong time, we made our own way to the collection pt. On arrival to a late dark noisy unhispospital Nairobi I had to be extremely forceful, very very, and demand the driver didn't dump us there, as he did moments earlier to a different couple.
The drive was very comfi but the detail spoilt the experience.

Michael BWe booked this bus from Arusha to Nairobi through 12Go. Based on the website, it looked like a good service, advertised as a VIP bus. We paid around €73.
Shortly after booking, we received a WhatsApp message from another company advising us that the bus would actually depart at 4 pm, rather than the 12:30 pm departure time we had booked. We had chosen the earlier departure hoping to arrive before dark. When I asked how long the journey would take, I was told we should arrive around 7:30–8 pm.
We arrived at 3:30 pm as instructed, only to be told that the bus was coming from Dar es Salaam and would not arrive until 4:30 pm. It eventually arrived at 5 pm. When it arrived, the bus was already full, and the staff spent another 30 minutes trying to fit everyone’s luggage into the storage compartments.
To be fair, the staff were all friendly and helpful. When we booked, we had been allocated seats one behind the other, but one of the staff members managed to arrange two seats next to each other, which we appreciated. The seats themselves were also comfortable, and the border crossing between Tanzania and Kenya was relatively straightforward.
As we got closer to Nairobi, people were frequently getting on and off. Close to 11 pm, the bus made a U-turn to refuel. At that point, we decided to get off and book our own Bolt to take us to our hotel which was 20 minutes away.
This review is not intended to criticise anyone. My concern is the difference between what was advertised and the service provided, just so that other travellers, particularly those visiting Tanzania for safari or Kilimanjaro and planning to travel back to Nairobi, have a realistic idea of what to expect.

And with the Uber situation too, I'm truly grateful for their service because it's not always easy to travel alone, and thanks to people like them, everything went perfectly!
