Satun Pakbara Speed Boat Club Popularne kierunki
Rodzaje promów i ceny biletówSatun Pakbara Speed Boat Club
Zalety i wady podróży promem
Zalety przeprawy promem
Oszczędza to czas i zabezpiecza plan podróży.

Trip was quick and effortless, highly recommend. They have a kiosk at hat yai airport at the pick up, exit 8. Ferry drivers found us and loaded our luggage, arrived earlier than expected.

The trip to Koh Lipe was okay. The way back to Hat Yai was not. The persening on the roof of the speedboat had a lot of holes, we got completely drenched by seawater. Wet to the bone, like we went swimming. Due to this we had to change clothes before going into the bus and the time was tight. And although our driver knew our flight departure time and there was not enough time he still stopped for people to do souvenir shopping and another stop to buy a beverage for himself. When we arrived at the airport our flight was already boarding and only because of the exemplary nice staff of Air Asia reopened the counter we could still drop off our checked luggage. All in all that was the worst airport/ferry transfer we ever had. We will not book them again.
Would recommend! We got the first boat from Lanta- Phuket and it was still punctual yet less busy than other providers so it was so much more comfortable. It was also less bumpy than other providers but not sure if this was a coincidence. Would book with them again next time! :)

Our Itenary: end of march, 8:30am, Phuket to Koh Ngai (Transfer in Koh Lanta)
HOW TO PREPARE:
- take a travel-sickness-tablet
- use ear plugs agains the engine noise
- sit in rear half of the boat (more stable, better view) and look out the window to lock your eyes on the horizon
-> do this and you’ll have a nice and comfortable ride
About our trip with Satun Pakbara SBC:
- very punctual
- good seating arrangements with good windows at the side
- the sea was wavy on the first part of the trip (Phuket - Koh Phi Phi - Koh Lanta), but the captain was very skilled and constantly adjusted speed and direction to go through the waves as smooth as possible
- transfer in Koh Lanta was literally just one step over to the next boat, very easy and comfortable
- the sea was smooth from Koh Lanta to Koh Ngai
- even a seamless and free transfer with a longboat to our accommodation was organised by SBSBC

The trip was a bit bumpy. But that wasn’t the drivers fault.

We stopped after 1.5h to ge some snacks and bathroom break.

As far as a speedboot ferry goes, this was great! Entered the termijnal and was immediately guided to the correct desk number. Check-in was fast, were guided to the boat and helpend aboard. The ride was some what "choppy", so we bounced around somewhat. But that is to be expected on a speedboat. Arrived pretty much in time, so all was great!

Overall good experience. There was engine trouble that meant we got away 20 minutes late. However after that the ride was good and we still got to the destination on time. Very accommodating staff at the destination that were happy to help me get to my hotel.

Late leaving Koh Mook….arrived at Koh Lanta just in time for connection but that was late. Arrived in Krabi an hour late to had to deal with bad traffic to hotel. Other than timings, all was great
Very good experience for the transfer from Koh Lanta to Ao Nang.
The customer service was extremely responsive, especially via WhatsApp, which was very reassuring for a multi-step journey. They picked me up directly from my hotel in Koh Lanta, which made the departure very easy and convenient.
There was a significant delay on the road, but the customer service team remained available and transparent throughout. They made sure to inform the boat about our late arrival to avoid any issues.
Once we arrived in Krabi, another taxi was already waiting to take me directly to my hotel in Ao Nang. The coordination was smooth despite the delay.
I would definitely recommend this service.
We left the airport early since everyone had already checked in, and maybe because of that we arrived to the port about 30 mins early. Arriving at the port/ferry was a bit chaotic but it all worked out and we made it to Koh Lipe right around 1pm, as advertised. At one point the driver suggested we'd get to Koh Lipe at about 3pm because the ferry would make multiple stops, but that didn't happen. I don't know if we just got lucky or not.
Overall good operator with some issues:
1. Pickup from Koh Lante hotel was on time. We arrived at the pier and were told exactly where to go for check in, and where to wait after.
2. Waiting for the boat (boarding) is on the pier platform which is un-shaded. Meaning you can wait for 10-20-30 min under the sun until you boarded the boat. So be prepared and put sunscreen, a hat or have an umbrella 🙂
3. Boarding itself was done with care, crew was polite and helped people by holding their hand one by one.
4. The speedboat itself was good, fast and the ride went well - thanks to the calm water I guess.
However, each seat has room in THEORY for 4 people. In real life, 4 people is very crowded and uncomfortable. So if the ride is fully booked expect the seating to be a bit tight.
5. Stops on the way - when booking the ride with 12go, it wasn't mentioned that in high season there might be stops on more island.
Only on the confirmation PDF it was noted, but only 2 islands and 30 min extra time.
In reality we stopped at 4 ISLANDS on the way! I think it was either total of 45 or 60 min extra time.
6. Arrival at Koh Lipe was also organized and calm. Staff greated everything and helped off the boat one by one. Luggage was taken out of the boat and put on the beach for us, so it was easy to pick up.
BTW, unrelated to this operator - when you reach the pier there might be drivers waiting for you with a sign of your hotel. Contact your hotel 24 hours BEFORE arrival to check if you should wait for one.
If you arrived and unsure, ask a local pier staff to help and call your hotel and ask!
Also, everyone MUST pay 200b entrance fee for the island so prepare your cash 😉
We were half an hour late, leaving Koh Lipe at 11 instead at 10:30. I guess that is the reason that the driver was driving so fast in order to catch up the lost time so we were “flying” over the waves and the ride was pretty bumpy. The engines were to noisy but I guess that part is normal on the speedboat, however a bit over 3h on that boat is too much…
The boat went very very very fast, too fast. And the boat in the pic, was diffrenr. Less comfortable.
And the pint starting, is far from the wallking streat and takes longer
The van and the driver was very good
Really rough seas
Really delayed, badly organised
Lots of waiting out at sea in a long tail boat to then be returned to shore
Really un safe getting off the boat in th storm on the floating pontoon
Everything great really
Only the start to find where the pier was it said to go to bunhga resort and we couldn t find that resort then it was in front of the monkey bar maby it s easier to put that on the info ....kind regards
