Vishvendra JWe booked the bus from Khao Sok - Phuket at 11 AM. The bus arrived at 12:30 PM and there was no notice from the company. After that there were many stops along the way including a 30 min stop. Eventually we reached our destination 1.5 hours later than what was supposed to be. The bus itself was okay. Air conditioning can be better for the cost of the ride.

Maxwell MI chose the large bus as mini-vans are death cans with no shock absorbers and a methed-up drivers. Journey to Suratthani is 4 hours. This journey was 6 via the old highway between Khao Lak and Suratthani; very slow. However, great scenery!

Ariane AThe bus did not arrive at 11:10hs, I called the hotline 11:38hs but nobody answered the call, then I opened a ticket at 11:52hs using the website.
Then after more minutes waiting, the bus arrived super late, at 12hs, packed. There was no place for ME and MY FRIEND to sit (both of us bought the ticket using 12 Go to be sure we would have a place for us to sit).
We had to sit on the floor in the back of the bus, super hot, until Phuket Bus Terminal 2. No air conditioning enought on the back, close to the toilette. I felt sick and my blood pressure lowed down, I thought I was going to faint on the bus, thanks Buddha I did not!
If I knew it would be like this, I would just have entered the bus and payed directly 150 baht instead of more than 9USD = 300 baht not to have a proper place to sit.
I will never choose this option again!

Stefano TIt was all in all ok, but picked us up 1h later than the scheduled time and consequently arrived late. I was going from Hua Hin to Phuket, and the bus only stopped once after 2 hrs, probably to give a break to those who departed from Bangkok, but then no stop anymore and honestly that was too early stop for who started in Hua Hin and too long with no stops until Phuket, at least another stop was necessary. Yes, there is a toilet on board but it's not a great option, one more quick stop would be much better.

Harun KUpon arrival at Surat Thani train station, we were intercepted by staff wearing 12Go Asia T‑shirts and were led to a different meeting point under misleading pretences. There, we were pressured to order food, which we clearly did not want. When we declined, the staff became unfriendly and started ignoring us. Despite several attempts to communicate, our questions were simply left unanswered. Only after asking passers‑by did we learn that the actual bus station was in a different location, and we ended up catching the bus only at the very last minute.

Marjan PThe overall experience was VERY BAD!!!
Upon arrival at bus station 2 in Phuket, we were told that we could take an earlier bus than we had booked. The only difference would be that we would have to wait a little longer in Surat Thani because we would be taking the same boat to Koh Phangan. Fine, we'd rather wait a little longer there than at this not-so-pleasant bus station.
The journey went via Khao Lak and Khao Sok. It was very long, partly because the driver stopped countless times to pick up and drop off people and goods. The driver drove like an F1 driver, at times very irresponsibly, and we did not always feel safe.
After a crazy 6.5-hour drive, we arrived at a restaurant/bus stop. We had to wait here and were given no information whatsoever. We can communicate using Google Translate, but there was a complete unwillingness to provide any information.
After half an hour, we left in a minivan to a place by the river, where we were pointed to the boat that would take us to Koh Phangan. This was a wooden ship that would probably have been written off in Europe 100 years ago. The lower deck was crammed with food, scooters and who knows what else, while the upper deck was one large mattress on which about 50 people had to lie down. There was one toilet on the boat... It is unbelievable and unacceptable that people are transported on this. Of course, we weren't forced, but we had no other choice, as there was no communication whatsoever.
We paid more than 2500 THB for this trip, while the boat trip was sold on site for 60 THB per person.
It is a gross scandal and I would not advise ANYONE to book this trip through this organisation.
12 GO should definitely NOT offer this.

Train seemed very outdated and stops were not announced so we had to keep checking our phones as the timings were off due to the delay, which meant we got very little sleep. Top bunks are very bright as the lights are on all night. Air con worked well and it was cool hence the 2 stars

Rhys MThe two tickets I paid for were to take us from Phuket bus terminal 2 to Ratchaprapha Dam Van Station. I saw our turn off for the Dam approaching on Maps but our driver went past it and remained on the main road, I went to ask him about it but he was busy talking on the phone to someone else while he was driving and didn’t answer me. We then stopped further up the main road and were dropped off at a bus stop in Ban Nai Thon about 15min short of our destination, in the hands of a lady at the bus stop who then told us we would have to pay another 300bhat to get to the dam with one of her drivers, even though I had already paid in full to be taken all the way. She offered little to no help to fix the situation and was also busy talking on the phone to someone else. I reached out to 12Go on the phone and we couldn’t communicate due to the language barrier, so I said I would send an enquiry for help online, but that request went unanswered for over 2 days. So we were forced to pay extra on top of our original ticket price to get to the dam.

Martha KGood and cheap! Best to get on in main cities otherwise you need to stand for a short bit! But very friendly and safe! Tell your driver if you need to be dropped futher from your station. Show him your address and he will drop you off! Might cost you 100b extra!
