Noemie GThe pier at Koh Tao was very crowded, which was annoying, but the staff was very organized, called everyone in time.
Our boat was supposed to be at 9:30 AM but we leaved at 10:00 because everyone had to get on board.
What is great is that from Koh Tao to Krabi, there were not much changes. The boat made a stop at Koh Phangan and Koh Samui, and then we arrived on mainland and buses were waiting for us.
Everything was well organized.
We recommend !

Susan KWoman in port at Koh Tao shouting directions with so very many people there…nowhere to sit.. two lines 1 and 2 …people confused… being English when I asked her if it was the correct place for krabi and my son and partner were going to Koh Samui she said “yes “ but not which line…I asked her later again when she was free and she shouted “on your ticket there’s a number..look at it!”…there was only a destination stating krabi no number. We could see no one else going to Krabi so were worried.
When it got even later I approached her again as did others still confused…she started shouting at me in front of everyone telling me she’d told me 4 times!!! I asked her not to shout at me..there was no number and I did not understand…she continued to screech at me in front of all the crowds telling me @read the ticket” and getting really angry. She was condescending and rude and intimidating and I would not recommend or go there again. I have a heart condition and should not get stressed but had no choice. I am a midwife in the NHS and in 20yrs in life and death situations and public facing 24 /7 with multiple nationalities I would never ever speak to someone like that…I would lose my job. I hope someone reprimands her as it was very very unprofessional…unhelpful and intimidating for anyone that did not understand the language and the number she kept saying was on the tickets did not exist as someone else had asked the same thing. Disgusting experience. ( previously our journey Koh Tao had been good).
A younger girl on the ferry in her 20’s who spoke some English was helpful and pleasant…totally different.
I hope you follow this up and don’t just assume it was an English person who was unintelligent!

Stefan MThe route wasn't explained: type of boat, duration of the crossing, and type of bus. We waited a long time in an old bus for another boat to arrive, without anyone offering us any assistance, and people who arrived much later left before us in more comfortable conditions. As a result, we had difficulty getting a connection for the rest of the journey.

Tarunendra PThe ferry from Koh Tao to Surat Thani was great! However the Minivan from Pattana Tours at Surat Thani was congested and they fit in more passengers than seats making the ride uncomfortable for all.
Pros: On time
Cons: More Passengers than could have been accommodated in the Minivan
