하지만 제 잘못이었습니다. 제가 원했던 건 카이로의 기자 정류장이었는데, 나스르 시티가 카이로의 특정 고버스 정류장이라는 걸 몰랐습니다. 아무도 도와줄 수 없어서 결국 새 티켓을 샀습니다. 게다가 고버스 웹사이트(12Go)를 통해 티켓을 구매했더니 최악의 좌석(뒷좌석, 잠을 잘 수 있도록 등받이가 젖혀지지 않는 자리)에 배정되었습니다. 다시 한번 말씀드리지만, 고버스 웹사이트에서 직접 좌석을 선택하려면 12Go를 통해 구매하는 것이 훨씬 낫습니다.

However, it was my fault. I did not realize that Nasr City was a specific Go Bus stop in Cairo when what I really needed was a Giza stop in Cairo. Nobody was able to help me, so I ended up simply buying another ticket. Also, purchasing through 12Go instead of Go-Bus directly put my seat in the WORST seat (back row, which does not recline for sleeping). Again, better to pick from Go-Bus directly in order to pick your own seat.

Unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing. The driver arrived 1.5 hours later than the agreed departure time. He explained that he had needed extra time to clean and prepare the car for the journey. However, shortly after we set off, we stopped at a petrol station, where he still had to refuel and clean the vehicle, which made us question whether the car had actually been prepared beforehand.
We were travelling with two young children and had specifically booked a night transfer because we wanted a peaceful journey during which the children could sleep and we could get some rest. Unfortunately, the additional stops kept waking them up.
On top of that, the car was extremely cold and noisy, making it very difficult to rest. I understand that the driver may prefer a cooler temperature, especially when driving at night, but travelling passengers should also be taken into consideration. The driver himself was wearing a hoodie, which says quite a lot about how cold it was inside the vehicle.
Overall, the journey was far from what we had expected. We understand that unexpected situations can happen, but punctuality, proper preparation of the vehicle and basic passenger comfort should be a priority, especially when families with young children book a night transfer.

No information given, we had to claim our tickets, ask from which station we were leaving, no data on practical information (instructions,...), the train arrived 1 hour late and almost 2 hours late on arrival, it was dirty and uncomfortable never again!
The train was ok, we arrived well at our destination. The egyptian railway service was excellent, we had no trouble to find the correct track and also getting the hard ticket was no problem. However, its more a train for locals, as a Tourist we felt a bit uncomfortable…

The trip took longer than expected due to a late start and rest times of more than one hour and several other rest stops, all in the same trip. Unfortunately, this meant that we were quite late to start our day in our destination, and that threw us off schedule. Otherwise, the service was very friendly and the cars were excellent. We hate to leave a bad review, but the long delays really caused us a lot of issues that were completely due to the service provider not sticking to the time seriously
I chose this class of bus for its comfort, but besides the damaged equipment, there are no phone chargers and no TV screens.
