**Terrible company that deceives its passengers!** First of all, they charged the full adult price for a ticket for a 4-year-old child. Secondly, along with the tickets, they sent us a photo of the bus that was supposed to operate the journey. It was a new, comfortable Sprinter. In reality, we were given an old bus with no air conditioning. We had to travel with the windows open. Thirdly, there were three transfers along the way, which the carrier had not informed us about in advance. Absolutely unacceptable service and misleading information. I do not recommend this company!

Great driver to Alsaban. The guy was very cool.

The transfer to a larger coach was delayed. This coach had no seat belts & the toilet was locked. The driver stopped for comfort breaks but the first stop had floor toilets which I was unable to use. Suggest using a different one, of which there were plenty on the road. No seat belts on second coach & toilet locked. Would have liked charging points & drop down tray on seat in front.

Thebus left Saranda on time & the driver was courteous. There was a large amount of luggage which was unaccompanied and it was all piled onto 3 seats next to me. I had to put my feet on these huge bags to stop them from falling onto me! Also I strongly suggest that you don't use the last place for a comfort break. The toilets are of the hole in the floor type which are difficult for me and many other older women to use.

L' autobus doveva essere diretto invece ho cambiato 3 bus. L' ultimo dei 3 bus aveva l' aria condizionata. Siamo più di 1 ora e mezzo in ritardo. Ho cambiato 3 bus invece di avere un servizio diretto. Inoltre abbiamo fatto tantissime pause.

Hot stuffy minibus. That it got me to Ohrid. The bus was 30 minutes late, rubbish was left in seats including chewing gum, there were no windows to open for air circulation and the driver didn’t turn aircon on until 1 hour into the drive. The aircon kept being turned on and off, we were constantly having to fan ourselves and the driver stopped 5 times which felt very unnecessary. Twice would’ve been enough. 38€ is totally overpriced for the experience we got. Would not recommend.

Very safe driver.

Bus was 1hr 20 late with no communication leaving everyone waiting out in the heat. When on the bus the air con was poor leaving all passengers hot for the duration of the journey.

The buses were clean but unfortunately that was about it. The bus journey was not really what we prepared for. We ended up changing buses 3 times which resulted in us being an hour and 30 minutes late to Sarandë. This was something we were not informed for and we were not prepared to arrive that much later into Sarandë. Some of the bus drivers seemed to not know what was going on and at the end we ended up being stuck on a massive coach that was heading to Sarande (not through this company) and they didn’t seem to really know who we were or what tickets we had as if they had never seen them before. We also had to wait for this bus for 20 minutes on the side of the motorway, and they didn’t really seem to have any idea who we were. Overall we weren’t very happy with this service, the bus to Ohrid was fantastic and well equipped however this was very messy and with it being so early in the morning we kept getting woken up to change yet another bus we had no idea about. It was very poorly organised, and we arrived extremely tired as well as late.

Awful Experience. Can’t say we liked a single thing about the experience. Bus was 40 minutes late. No air conditioning on the bus in 36° heat, fans blew out hot air making the situation even more unbearable than it already was. Door of the minivan was covered in oil and didn’t close properly. Driver randomly stopped on the side of the road to buy fruit while we were sitting in this awful intense heat. When we arrived in Ohrid we were let out on the side of a random road, no idea where we were and when the driver was asked where the bus station/terminal was he said it was another 3km away and that if we gave him €30 more he would take us there. One of the most awful experiences of my life, I felt sick the entire way with the heat. Between us we spent over €160 for the pleasure of suffering heatstroke for 7 and a half hours.

3 hours late! Our bus from Ohrid, Macedonia to Sarande, Albania was advertised as direct, however once we had crossed the Albanian boarded we stopped in a gas station to wait for another bus. We waited almost 3 hours for this bus. Schedule was advertised as 4:30 departure - 11:30 arrival. We arrived in Sarande between 14:30-15:00 which meant we missed something we had booked for 13:30 causing us a fee. The bus was extremely hot, and we received no apology for the delay but were in fact rushed by the bus driver when they eventually turned up 3 hours late.

direct trip from Ohrid to Vlora but expensive for the ratio quality/price. Le 25/06/2024 à 4H30 du matin, à Ohrid (devant la banque Sparkasse sur Bulevar Makedonski Prosvetiteli), nous avons pris le bus en direction de Vlora (Albanie). Il y a eu beaucoup de confusions au début et nous avons changé 3 fois de van/fourgon pour rien entre Ohrid et Struga, par rapport à la répartition des voyageurs entre les différentes destinations. Heureusement, de ce fait, nous avons pris un réel bus direct entre Ohrid et Vlora. Nous sommes arrivés un peu en retard (5-15 min). Cependant, ce retard aurait pu être évité car après le passage de frontière de la Macédoine du Nord à l'Albanie, le chauffeur a fait une pause sur une aire de repos/autoroute pendant 30 minutes et une autre, avant d'arriver à Vlora (ce que je n'ai pas compris) de plus de 30 minutes donc nous avons perdu 1H. J'aurais préféré soit 2 pauses de 15 minutes soit 1 grande pause de 30 minutes au milieu du trajet mais pas 2 grandes pauses. Je précise que le chauffeur de bus d'une autre compagnie, que nous avons ut.

Transporte Sarande para Ohrid. Mais de uma hora de atraso, esperando o ônibus parada em um ponto sem conforto (falta de banco e cobertura de sol). O ar condicionado do veículo não funcionava.

Super friendly driver, beautiful scenery. The driver was so friendly, and the views from the window were gorgeous. I liked how the mini bus was very well air-conditioned. The vehicle wasn't quite a "bus", it was a minivan. So I didn't know what I was looking out for while waiting to depart.

the bus trip started at 4:30am, at around 8:00am we sat there for over an hour, i was asking what was happening. the driver spoke no english so wasn’t telling us what was happening but he was trying to palm us off to another bus so he didn’t have to drive all the way. to top this all off the whole trip he didn’t buckle his seatbelt so it was pinging, i had constant cigarette smoke in my eyes and the AC wasn’t working and it was hot. ended up getting there later than the estimated time and i did not feel respected by my driver at all. in fact i felt extremely unsafe majority of the trip.

wouldn’t put this under category get by bus as it isn’t a bus. it got me to macedonia in one ashy piece. when we booked this we were expecting a coach bus. then got a message on the day it was going to be a mini bus however it was a small utility van that was dirty and stunk of cigarettes. our driver smoked inside the van regularly throughout the 7 hour trip barely putting the window down the entire journey and got ash all over us multiple times and even burnt me with the butt when attempting to dispose of his cigarette. I understand it is common practice to smoke in cars in this part of Europe, but a warning would have been nice. I don’t think this was worth $40 and don’t recommended this.

Most unpleasant bus ride on our trip so far. Arriving at our destination Bus was on time for pick up. The driver of the first bus we were picked up in wasn’t friendly and seemed impatient when we were getting our passports out for crossing the border to Albania. We then had to switch into an unmarked car two hours into the trip which we weren’t informed of prior to the trip. The driver of this new car smoked the entire duration (5 hours) and the car only had air con on the dashboard so my partner and I who were sitting in the very back seats became very hot, and any chance of the air con reaching us was lost by the driver keeping his window open to let the smoke out letting all the hot air in. My partner asked if he could please turn the air con up and he said it was at maximum. His solution was then to close the window 95% of the way but continued to smoke so the car became filled with cigarette smoke. It was a smoke filled sauna and words can’t begin to describe how uncomfortable it was. 80 euros for that trip was severely overpriced.

Bus did not arrive and there was no prior knowledge or warning that there had been a mechanical faul. They sorted alternate transport eventually. No email or text or call to say the bus wasn’t coming.

- Friendly drivers - First bus was very comfortable, we switched after the Albanian crossing and sadly the second bus not as comfortable and much busier - but still ok! - First bus was 45 mins late to collect us - could be made clearer where the bus stop is (outside the bank in town) - we thought we would have to walk all the way to the bus station like our other trips.

Hot, sweaty, smokey mess. We arrived at the destination on time. On a very hot day, above 35 degrees. There are no windows that open on the bus, the driver would only put the aircon on for short periods. The driver was also chain smoking the whole trip with the windows up, it was disgusting and made me feel sick. The bus was very dirty. Unfortunately I think this is the only direct service from Vlora - Ohrid.

Look this is the only option…. From Vlora to Ohrid that is the only option, not the best ride of your life. The driver drives safe and if you ask for a break, he is up to it. We stopped twice, but we arrived in time. The bus is dirty, the AC is poorly working.

Air condition did not work.

It was a terrible trip. It was on time picking me up. I would just like to put out there that I am a budget traveler and have pretty low expectations when it comes to public transportation. I have never left a bad review. It was already a 4:30am direct bus so I was planning on sleeping on it the whole time. But we had to switch vehicles two different times and I almost missed one of the transfers because I was asleep at 6 in the morning. Then, the bus drivers acted mean and angry. One of them yelled at a mom and her daughter. Another threatened to leave a couple when the woman was in the bathroom after she asked if she could go. He started driving off and yelling at the man to take a taxi while she was running back to the bus. The bus was hot and stuffy with barely working AC and their driving was chaotic and unsafe. I don’t get carsick but I almost threw up multiple times and was nauseous the whole time. My expensive backpack was ripped after being thrown around through the whole process. This was my worst bus experience in 13 years.

We arrived on time. Had good stops. 30 minutes late and the driver smoked the whole time other than that perfectly easy trip. Senad you’re said 13:30 departure so it’s GETBYBUS Who was wrong.

Berbat Yolculuk. Hiçbir şeyi sevmedim. Ohrid' den Saranda' ya gitmeyi düşünüyorsanız hemen vazgeçin. Çünkü gidemeyeceksiniz. Otobüs Vlora' da duyuruyor. Ayrıca yolculuk boyunca sürücü saatlerce kahve içip oturacaktır. Sabah 04:30 'da başlayan yolculuk berbattı. Saatlerce yolda başka otobüsün gelmesini bekledim. Bunun üzerine sürücü bağırıp geri Makedonya'ya döneceğini söyledi. Tekrar geri dönüp başka bir şehirden taksiyle Saranda'ya gönderdiler. Yolculuk saat 17:00 da sona erdi. Yalnızsaniz ve Saranda'ya gidecekseniz asla bu otobüse binmeyin. Hayatımda yaptığım en kötü yolculuktu. Turistseniz işiniz daha da zor.

Not as bad as I expected. I made the grave error of reading the reviews for this journey at 4:15am, just before the bus arrived. This made me so anxious given some of the horror stories in the reviews about it being uncomfortably hot and inundated by cigarette smoke. But honestly, maybe my expectations were so low that it didn't turn out that bad, or maybe it just depends on the driver that day. Now, did we arrive at our destination over an hour late? Yes. Did the door to the minibus break and stop closing about 1/4 into the journey causing them to have to tie a cable to the handle to keep it closed while we drive? Also yes. But still, we sat near the back and didn't really smell the cigarette smoke, and since it was so early we were very comfortable with the temperature throughout. Later in the morning it started getting quite hot, and I was getting nervous again, but the driver turned on the air con which is super powerful towards the back and things were sorted. Overall I'm happy enough. I do wish we took a more direct route to Vlore instead of driving through traffic filled Tirana and dropping people off in Durres. I think if it wasn't for that, we would've arrived at the scheduled time of 9:30. Unfortunately with the breaking of the door and the long route through Tirana, it ended up taking an extra hour to get to Vlore. It was also very confusing at the beginning going through the border and nobody was telling us what was going on, but otherwise it was fine. There's only so much you can do to make a 5+ hour bus ride comfortable.

It’s a bus at the end of the day. Based on previous reviews, we had quite low expectations. The driver did smoke the whole time but the window was open, so it was more entertaining than a nuisance. Got there ahead of schedule, pick up was exactly outside Neptun shop. We were a bit confused where the bus would stop as the Neptun shop is in the middle on a roundabout and it didn’t look like a regular place to stop, and the people in the store were confused.

No AC and a driver who smoked most of the ride. I got there in one piece- The lack of AC in 90+ weather - The bus driver who kept smoking - Every seat was taken. - The girl in the back who threw up because of the heat and jerky driving. - The driver ignored the women when they spoke and only communicated with the one guy who spoke Macedonian. - The heat with the smoke was a lethal combo to make you feel nauseous and with headache majority of the time. The journey goes up and down mountains and I am pretty sure the driver thought he could make up time which resulted in abrupt slow downs on corners and jerky action/moves.

Great trip. Everything was perfect. Driver was very good. Minibus was clean. AC was working.

System needs improvement. From Saranda to Elbasan, our driver made enough stops to stretch our legs and have some fresh air. The drive was smooth. Our drive from Elbasan to Ohrid was pleasant and the driver even stopped closer to our accommodation, which was near the main street, when we asked him if we could jump out early. Firstly, we arrived just before 11am for our 11:30 bus, however, it was not at the pick up point, but a bit further away around the corner. We arrived early so that we wouldn't have to stress about finding the bus etc. Luckily we did arrive early because at 11:15 the bus was full and preparing to leave. It was full the the point where we weren't not able to board and were told we would have to get the bus the next day. After getting a local to help us translate that this was not possible, as we had a ticket booked and paid in full for that day, and a flight we had to catch the following day in Ohrid, the driver removed some people who didn't have a ticket from the bus. There was a lot of stern Albanian words back and forth between the driver and the people who had to get off the bus. We also were not made aware that the bus was going to Elbasan, with a second bus from Elbasan to Ohrid. This was fine in the end bus obviously a surprise as it does not state this on the ticket.

I was happy to find a direct connection without having to change buses. It was a 6 hour ride, and we had a coffee stop underway. The bus was on time at the given place. It was a good driver and he spoke English very well. Nice that I could book online so I was assured of my place on the bus. It was not a very luxury tour bus, but good value for the money (22€ for a 6 hour ride).

Punktual and pretty fast. We've been traveling from Ohrid to Saranda. Be prepared that you might gave to switch buses halfway and that the second can be an Albanian packed with locals. Good communication with the owner via email. Dont pay online as you have a hefty fee of 7 eur/person.

Good to have a shuttle to take us from Tirana to Orhid. The ticket´s address sent us to a Bus Terminal that is not open to the public yet! It was really hard to walk around for almost an hour to find the driver and the shuttle There was no information anywhere and we almost missed the ride if some locals didnt help us find the driver. We had a flat tire on the motorway and we felt unsafe there for almost an hour It was a bit of a nightmare so I suggest a pick up place in Tirana where it is easier to find and with more information for the tourists who cant speak the local language, please. But we made it to Orhid and im thankful to that Regards.

The only (non-direct) connection between Sarandë and Ohrid. Not great but works. We arrived safely at our destination, and I couldn’t find another “direct” connection between Sarandë and Ohrid. The drivers were not rude and they ensured we made the transfer. The trip is sold as a direct connection between Sarandë and Ohrid, but it requires a transfer. There was no information about this. We were picked up by a different bus company in Sarandë before we were transferred to Senad Tours near Elbasan. The transfer is not a problem in itself since the bus waited for us, but there was no information about this. The bus driver also stops too often, and for half an hour when you are just an hour away from the destination for no reason as we also arrived 45 min late. The first bus driver also forgot that he had to leave some other passengers in Gjirokastër and he had to drive back for about 15 min when they realised and he dropped them off at a junction 8 km from Gjirokastër (not nice!). Still he took many generous breaks after that rather than driving them all the way.

If you can find another way to do this route, DO THAT. Somehow it managed to be fairly on time. The one positive thing about the whole trip. Hardly any place for your legs (I am not tall), changed vans 3 times along the way, the last one had some kind of problem, the AC stopped working, smelled like burnt brakes, had to stop in the middle of the route (literally middle of a one lane route) to figure it out. Left us 1km away from where it was supposed to.

Could have taken 4 hours - took 8 instead due to unnecessarily long breaks…. We got to our destination and met a nice family along the way. The trip itself could have taken 4 hours max instead took 8+ hours due to the driver taking 5 long breaks - two of which were to wait over an hour at a petrol station for passengers from another bus to join our bus? And the others were so the driver could have a sit down meal and cigarette along the way. I appreciate the driver is a human being but at the same time when we are stopping for an hour or more so that he can eat it becomes ridiculous as everyone on board had paid a fair price for the journey. The cherry on top was when the driver stopped at his favourite bakery to pick up some pastries… I couldn’t believe it at that point. We ended up arriving over an hour later than scheduled, which should have been much sooner anyway.

Tirana to Ohrid. We got to our location. Collection location not clear, thought we’d missed the one bus to Ohrid, then 20 minutes later the unmarked mini bus shows up and found us Made various random stops including a market.

On time and a very friendly driver who went out of his way for us.

We ended up being on three different buses for this trip, with about thirty seconds prior being told to get our stuff and get off onto the next one. For the last bus, they were trying to fit on a lot more people than there were seats in the minivan. Very chaotic. People getting dropped off and on constantly which ended up taking a lot longer. No AC and buses were extremely cramped and hot. Wouldn’t recommend booking this route.

Senad tours - Saranda to Ohrid. The bus terminal in Saranda is very chaotic and somehow we missed the bus. After a brief call with Senad tours an alternative route were found and we even mad it to Ohrid at the same time that was initially planned. Thank you for the help. Beside that the buses are fine and the drivers drive very fine and calm according to the trafic. We had a pleasent trip. It would ve nice if you had a sign at Saranda bus terminal telling people that they are on the right spot.

It is impossible to understand where is the bus stop in Durres and the bus is unpredictable. Why not to set the bus stop at the bus station? It is the most logical thing and in this way it would be clear where to find the bus (e.g. platform 10). Busses are often late or very late and you don't know whom to ask. The assistance had a Croatian number, which means high roaming prices. In a bus station these problems would be solved. Also the price of the ride should be lower.

Mini buses are better. Drivers nice Stops on the way. Changed buses 3 times.
