A lot of the seats were broken and the driver didn't give any instructions or assistance with toilet breaks. He was over an hour late, which worked in our favour as there was an accident on the highway that made us arrive right on departure. The customer service is very hard to get help from too.
Got us to the right place. The bus driver was rude to passengers. We were unaware of the €2 luggage fee (this should be communicated better when buying a ticket) and he was quite intimidating when explaining this - throwing our bags off the vehicle and saying we would need to catch the next bus if we didn’t pay (which was at 6am the following morning.) This made me uncomfortable as a female traveller. The bus stop in Shkoder was hard to find and the bus was running late. The bus itself was old and needed a clean and maintenance.
OK. The final stop in Shkoder was in a completely different place than what was indicated on the ticket map. It wasn't fun to look for a route to the accommodation in the dark.
Bus broke down. Comfortable seats, air conditioning, curtains etc. The bus departed on time. The bus had a serious mechanical problem and kept breaking down every 5 or so minutes. A very stressful situation for the driver, as he had to keep jump starting it with passengers feeling worried. My friends and I ended up getting off and getting into a taxi.
The bus was worse than vomit. Nothing. this was a terrible ride. The bus was very bad and the seat I sat on was wet. The buss smelled and the station never accepted our “mobile tickets” which resulted in us paying additional “fees” in cash to print the tickets plus they still charge you additional “fees” in cash for each luggage.
It was a short and nice ride. I travelled without a luggage, but the driver forced every single passenger to hand their bags, even the tiniest ones, slightly bigger than a pocket in order to get 2 euros for every piece. Since he does not speak English, I tried to communicate with him in my broken Albanian, but I couldn't understand one of his sentences, and he suddenly mimicise me. I'm not that soft, but that was a humiliating experience. The only good thing that I can say about him that he drove nice.
Filthy. Some of the passengers were nice. The bus was filthy inside and out! Does anyone ever clean them? The journey took almost 7 hours, it is timetable as 5. We were meant to leave at 5 and arrive at 10. We left at 5.30 and arrived at 12. The driver was quite rude to.
We need to paid extra charges !! 2 euros more per person at the counter desk (because We only paid 19 euros with thé online operator, 1 euro to print the vouchers !!!! and 2 euros per luggage directly to the car driver. We were 2:15 late due to an accident.. 0 information provided to us by the cardriver. No air conditionning during the 3 first hours (hot air)
awful driver behaviour. driver was rude, screaming at everyone, rushing for no reason and finally forced me to put my backpack with my personal items, food and water and laptop into luggage compartment I guess so he could take 2 euro from me and I could be travelling for hours without the water that I bought. People like him should not work with other people.
Fast, straightforward ride! Bus had a delay of one hour and five minutes. Despite of the fact you ask for a phone number, no one warns you about the delay, so communication is poor. We almost arranged other transport.
Wrong terminal, bumpy ride. Not many passengers. He finished his ride at the wrong terminal, not wanting to go further. All passengers on the bus had plans scheduled for a different terminal. We all had to get an extra taxi to get to pur place. The tickets say we stop at drita terminal, he finished before even getting to Tirana. The van was old and the ride was very bumpy.
The bus arrived to pick up os one hour late. The bus was so old not clean ' chairs was broken. This bus should absolutely not been used for the routs more than max 100 km and even not in the international roads between two countries. And we never understand the reason for paying 3 euro pr person for check in at ulcinj busterminal .
Was very late and not traffic related. Driver and co worker were friendly and appreciable. Driver was safe and not erratic. I don’t think the poor service was their fault. Lateness of bus pick up. Pick up point was incorrect. Bus not bearing the signs of travel company ‘Drita travel’ instead it had a stick on sign ‘flexi bus’. No sign on bus to say where it had travelled from or where it was travelling too. Bus smelt of diesel at the back. We weren’t dropped off at the bus station which is what was in the booking information. Wished I’d just booked a local taxi now.
Late bus but made good time. Views were nice. When purchasing bus tickets if baggage fees will be extra you should always get the option to pay for it ahead of time. No where on our tickets did it say we would need cash for baggage. The bus driver asked everyone for 2 euros to store the bags. And wouldn’t let anyone on the bus with their bags. Other people on the bus had to give us euros to use as we weren’t even in a country where euros were the currency.
Extra charge. Left on time. The driver was gruff and rude. Made multiple stops. It was unexpected that everyone had to pay extra 2 euros for luggage even when I could have fit my backpack on the bus.
Driver dropped us all off at the wrong location. Driver dropped us all off at the wrong location, at a random bus stop in the middle of town. We had to catch a taxi 10km across town to get to the bus station.
Driver very nice but ticket checker was an arrogant bully! Driver was kind. Although he didn't speak english, he was courteous. Once the ticket checker entered the bus in Podgorica, the atmosphere changed. He started yelling at people to pay 2 euros per luggage, without receipt. He would threaten them that they would not be allowed on the bus. Very negative person and a bully!
Good trip, eventually even a toilet stop. Comfortable seat, with curtain for the windows against the sharp sun. After 3 hours we got a toilet stop. Could have been sooner.
Utterly unco=ordinated hopeless incompetence. As a result of not having the capacity to organise no! You are taking the piss. Utterly incompetent twats. Hopeless lack of incoordinate when you book ticket it does not mean you will get on the bus.
Unpleasant driver, do not allow any luggage (not even small) in the bus. Take 2€ per piece. Poor. We arrived. Driver. Paying extra for small pieces of luggage. Paying for printing the ticket at Podgorica bus station. Paying extra 5€ for getting off at Tirana airport.
"bus station fee". The bus left on time. When we arrived at our destination there was flash flooding the driver tried to find a drier place for us to get off. Even if you have printed your ticket they make you "validate" it and pay a 2 euro fee per person as a bus station fee. As expected then have to pay a further 2 euros to put each bag on the bus. Bus was old and many of the seats a bit broken.
The Driver trying always ask for extra charge for everything which was including in the tickets.. Nothing. just Un honest driver and people who works in the Station .
Driver Left Us Stranded. The driver left us stranded in Tirana - he dropped us off at a location that was convenient to him and not the location that was stipulated on the tickets. When we all protested that he had to drop us off at the said bus station, he shrugged his shoulders, ignored us and just kept smoking his cigarette. Many people had made transport and accommodation plans based on the location of the drop off point stated on the tickets, so this was a huge inconvenience as now we had to arrange alternative transport to take us where we were meant to be dropped off. Disgusting behavior from the driver.
Weird customer service. The bus was on schedule and the bus wasn't too crowded. The driver smoked cigarettes during the drive and didn't give any information for the passengers during the trip. The driver stopped multiple times during the drive and didn't give any reason why he stopped and what was happening. I think at one point he put some his personal stuff to the cargo and maybe one time he stopped to went to the store. Professional drivers would have taken care of their drinks and snacks for the ride before the bus needed to leave. AND!! It was super dangerous that the driver had some empty bottles and cans rolling around near his seat. What if one of these cans or bottles went under the brakes and in that case, he wouldn't have been able to use the brakes.
I was left really shaken and upset by the experience of travelling from Podgorica to Shkoder. I am a solo traveller from England and I don’t speak Montenegran or Albanian. I handed in my ticket and made it clear I was travelling to Shkoder. However, when we got to Shkoder the driver didn’t advise of the stop. We then started to drive out of Shkoder. I spoke to the driver who was really rude and said he only had 3 passengers for Shkoder and he dropped them off. I showed him my to ticket and he finally pulled over. He left me on the side of the road with no phone signal or money 2 miles from Shkoder. I was left shaken by the whole experience.
The car was really old, dirty, no air conditioning and not only the driver allowed people smoking …. I didn’t like anything. The van was dirty, old, it didn’t have air conditioning and it was uncomfortable. Even worse, the driver not only allowed people smoking but he smoked himself while driving, not to say the countless times he talked on the phone.
Fatal. Sin aire acondicionado y sin cortinas, te daba el sol todo el rato y hacía muchísimo calor. Autobús sucio y mala conducción del chofer, una pesadilla.
Bus air conditioning insufficient; it was too hot inside. Avoid seats and curtains in velvet ! If you pay a bus ticket, it is not normal not to include at leat one lugagge per person, customer should not have the surprise to pay in cash additionally for the luggage when boarding. It is simply stupid to ask customers to print tickets on paper at the station, when tickets have QR-code to be shown from mobile, to be scanned by the driver or a boarding assistant for automatic check/count (speeding up the boarding process). It is even abusive not to inform before the customers and ask them to pay for printing tickets at station in Shkodër (5€ per person for 1 sheet of paper!), in addition to pay for a printed pass for the station gate (1€ pp for a piece of paper), which is completely useless, as access to the bus platforms should only be based on the fact to have a valid travel bus ticket!!
Hot. The scenery. Driver was very rude, shouting at passengers. The assistant who got on at podgorica was worse. Very rude. The bus is too hot. It is rude to ask 2 Euros for a bag under the bus. It cost 2 of us an extra 10 euros because we had to pay "bus station tax" . How ridiculous. I'm not happy.
AC not handle full bus. Older bus , but clean, limited bus companies and it is what it is. Travelling mid summer very hot. Might be ok shoulder season. Say e ticket ok but wrong needs paper ticket.
Views trough th e window. The driver was smoking cigarettes during the trip and all of the bus have to breath smokes, no AC so was very hot, lso arrived 1h+ later thank expected, driver charged for money when he stoped near Tirana aurport.
