Costituiscono una buona scelta per i viaggi brevi. Gli autobus VIP o sleeping bus sono ideali per viaggi lunghi e notturni. Di solito offrono cuccette o sedili ampi, morbidi e reclinabili, e a volte vengono offerti massaggi compresi, coperte, rinfreschi e spuntini, o pasti più abbondanti, sia a bordo dell'autobus che durante le soste per la toilette e il rifornimento. Viaggiare in uno sleeping bus ti permette di risparmiare il prezzo di una camera d'albergo. Tuttavia, per rendere il percorso il più confortevole possibile, è necessario scegliere con cura la classe dell'autobus. I Vantaggi del Viaggio in Autobus
- L'autobus è la soluzione più indicata per raggiungere le località non servite dal treno o dall'aereo. Di solito, la rete di autobus copre quasi tutto il paese e spesso i tragitti sono già ben consolidati da molto tempo.
- A differenza dell'aereo o del treno, quando si viaggia in autobus non occorre arrivare in stazione con largo anticipo. Il check-in, anche per le tratte internazionali, non richiede tanto tempo. I limiti stabiliti per i bagagli sono di solito abbastanza convenienti per il passeggero e la tariffa per il bagaglio extra, se ci sono dei limiti, non è spesso molto alta.
- I biglietti d'autobus sono quasi sempre più economici di quelli dell'aereo o del treno veloce. I tipi di autobus si adattano a tutti i budget. Gli autobus standard, più economici, sono a volte un po' lenti e non forniscono il massimo comfort, ma sono comunque accettabili e ti porteranno a destinazione. Per i viaggi più lunghi, gli autobus sono solitamente dotati di servizi igienici o effettuano fermate per la toilette, e il prezzo include quasi sempre snack, acqua e talvolta articoli da toilette e coperte.

- I nuovi terminal interurbani degli autobus sono spesso situati fuori città, vicino alle autostrade, in modo da evitare il traffico urbano. Questo può comportare qualche difficoltà per i viaggiatori. Raggiungere un terminal di questo tipo può risultare problematico, poiché in alcuni terminal ci sono restrizioni in quanto ai veicoli che sono autorizzati a entrare e quindi per arrivarci occorre utilizzare trasporti speciali. Ciò potrebbe comportare costi più elevati soprattutto se i prezzi dei trasporti sono stati ribaltati. Se si viaggia nelle ore di punta, si deve prevedere più tempo, soprattutto se non si conosce la situazione del traffico locale.
- Gli autobus sono forse il mezzo di trasporto meno puntuale rispetto ai treni e agli aerei. Gli autobus dipendono fortemente dalla situazione stradale, che a volte è imprevedibile (incidenti, lavori stradali, deviazioni, ecc.). Questo vale soprattutto per i viaggi del fine settimana, l'alta stagione e le festività nazionali. Tienilo presente e non programmare connessioni troppo ravvicinate.
- Per viaggiare in alcune tratte o durante i periodi di maggiore affluenza è consigliabile prenotare in anticipo. Tieni conto che non è sempre possibile arrivare alla stazione e prendere il prossimo autobus: rischi di trovare i biglietti esauriti, quindi programma il tuo viaggio con largo anticipo.

Tutto, mille soste inutili, pullman sporco, zero spazio , fermate degli autisti fiori programma per prendere dei pacchi lungo la strada, personale a Skopje che ci ha fatto partire con un ritardo di 1 ora e mezza per aspettare gli altri passeggeri, ho perso il treno perché siamo arrivati a Mestre con 4 ore e 45 minuti di ritardo, troppe soste pausa.

Anonymous Easy route. AC on bus needed to be better especially when its high 30s air temp. Stopping for a break an hour out of Thessaloniki seemed pointless apart from giving people time for a smoke. I’m ok with breaks but it would be good if we knew when they were coming and for how long. That break made the bus temperature get up to mid 40s as a result.

Anonymous What a horrible experience. We got to our destination. Our bus driver told us that we were not on his bus even though it was in the platform that our tickets told us and it was the same company (Rule turs). We asked three times to be told, “no, not this bus, but don’t worry it will come” 2 minutes before this bus was scheduled to leave one of the drivers came over to where we were seated and said, “show me your tickets” and then said “Yes this is your bus”. Frantically we put our luggage under the bus and got on as he was preparing to drive away. In all the stress of this I left a piece of our luggage behind. The aircon didn’t work at all and being a full bus it was extremely and uncomfortably hot. The seats were way too close to together and when the person in front of us layed their seat back our legs were squashed. We were like that for the entire 9 hour journey. I hope to never experience anything like this again and suggest that others avoid this company if they can.

Anonymous A Journey from hell. The fact that I arrived in Skopje. Quite a number of things. I did not like the driver smoking in the bus to start with. I also did not like that we were stopped at the border for over 2 hours and the staff, who barely speaks English, was not keeping us updated. The Bus’ AC could barely keep up and the bus was way too warm. People stank, but that’s not your fault.

Addiitional fees for having luggage and for being at the bus station (!) Why not build them into the online pricing? Anonymous The man who assisted the driver was angry, rude and volatile. No air con. The bus was modern but they wouldn't turn on the air conditioning so it was stuffy and hot for the long journey. The driver assistant was angry and agressive all the time. No communication, you couldnt ask him a question, he would just yell! They smoked in the bus doorway at rest stops. When we got to kotor they wouldn't pull into bus station. They stopped on the road 1 block away and made us get out there and then get luggage out of bus in the traffic on the road.

There was no Rul Turs coach at 11:00 am as advertised on the ticket - instead a by chance conversation with the "driver" (*who barely spoke English) of a parked people carrier turned out to be the ride to Skopje .. The vehicle had no Rul. Turs marking and was going from place to place picking up passengers. It purported to be the Rul Turs service and explained would be leaving at 10:30 am when my ticket was for 11:00 am. Total disgrace and a total con .. you ought to reimburse me 180 Euro or whatever I spent on this dismal booking.

Anonymous Skopje to Kotor overnight bus. Got on bus at Skopje bus station beside central train station. Based off other reviews, we had printed off our online booking at our hotel. You must go to ticket office inside bus station beforehand where they will print off ticket to give to bus driver. Had to pay 100 denar “tax” at ticket office, can pay with card and they’ll give receipt. Bus was 80-90% full but comfortable, safe drive. Borders were overall straightforward. Had to get off bus and present passport at Macedonian border but for Kosovo, Albanian and Montenegro, we handed passports to staff and stayed on bus while they were processed. Bus arrived on time. As mentioned in other reviews, driver requested €1 per person charge to pay for big bags stored underneath. We did not have any denar / euros and drivers were annoyed with this but left us put bags in anyway. We Already paid a lot (€40) for ticket and no mention of extra charge on website. Likely this charge was going in bus drivers pocket. Bus driver assistant quite rude/gruff. Be careful you don’t sleep through stop because they will not delay in moving on.

Anonymous Driver left of 1 hour late. We waited in the bus all that time. It seems like 12 hour trip on the website but only took 8 hours. We planned our trip according to 12 hour because site say so. We arrived so early everywhere was closed. Departing could have been later. The bus was very uncomfortable. Seats were small and narrow. It should be bigger seats for long journey like this. I dont recommend this firm to anyone.

Anonymous Better than I was expecting. I would recommend this company to anyone needing to travel from Skopje to Podgorica. Tip: drink a lot of fluids the day _before_ your ride so that you can avoid having to go to the bathroom during your ride. Another tip: you have to go to the ticket office before your ride to show them the printout and get a ticket. They will then ask if you have a reservation, whatever that means. Even though my bicycle folded up, I still had to pay extra to store it in the luggage compartment. Fortunately, it was only 120 denars/2 Euros. The border patrol upon leaving Kosovo took everyone's passports and later gave them back. Though this may be more efficient, it sets precedent for the abuse of power. Of course this has nothing to do with the bus company. Just something to be aware of.

Sitting up the front of the bus and watching the driver drifting onto the other side of the road. the warning ⚠️ on the dash is there for a reason.. approaching Skopje one of the other passengers from the back alerted the driver to the smoke pouring from the back. a rapid change over to another bus finally got us to the destination terminal.. no explanation at any stage.. interesting.

Process was pretty smooth and easy. it was a nice experience!! The only complain that i have is the bus should be cleaner. The seat looks quite dirty and dusty. The bus had working AC (other buses on my trip did not and it was unbearable) and we arrived in Thessaloniki on time. Really happy with the experience.
