- L'autobus è la soluzione più indicata per raggiungere le località non servite dal treno o dall'aereo. Di solito, la rete di autobus copre quasi tutto il paese e spesso i tragitti sono già ben consolidati da molto tempo.
- A differenza dell'aereo o del treno, quando si viaggia in autobus non occorre arrivare in stazione con largo anticipo. Il check-in, anche per le tratte internazionali, non richiede tanto tempo. I limiti stabiliti per i bagagli sono di solito abbastanza convenienti per il passeggero e la tariffa per il bagaglio extra, se ci sono dei limiti, non è spesso molto alta.
- I biglietti d'autobus sono quasi sempre più economici di quelli dell'aereo o del treno veloce. I tipi di autobus si adattano a tutti i budget. Gli autobus standard, più economici, sono a volte un po' lenti e non forniscono il massimo comfort, ma sono comunque accettabili e ti porteranno a destinazione. Per i viaggi più lunghi, gli autobus sono solitamente dotati di servizi igienici o effettuano fermate per la toilette, e il prezzo include quasi sempre snack, acqua e talvolta articoli da toilette e coperte.

Raggiungere un terminal di questo tipo può risultare problematico, poiché in alcuni terminal ci sono restrizioni in quanto ai veicoli che sono autorizzati a entrare e quindi per arrivarci occorre utilizzare trasporti speciali. Ciò potrebbe comportare costi più elevati soprattutto se i prezzi dei trasporti sono stati ribaltati. Se si viaggia nelle ore di punta, si deve prevedere più tempo, soprattutto se non si conosce la situazione del traffico locale.
- Gli autobus sono forse il mezzo di trasporto meno puntuale rispetto ai treni e agli aerei. Gli autobus dipendono fortemente dalla situazione stradale, che a volte è imprevedibile (incidenti, lavori stradali, deviazioni, ecc.). Anonymous Old bus, rude bus driver. Price is ok. The bus was disgusting. Old, full of dust, we were breathing dust all the time. Chewing gum in the floor, dirty window glasses, very hot : the “air conditioning “ just moved dirty and dusty air from the interior system. The bus driver was making jokes in Serbian language about us the foreigners when we passed by (local peole translated me because I noticed that local people were laughing when he spoke).

Olga GThe bus didn't come to Podgorica Bus station at all; we waited until 2 a.m., only for a bus station employee to tell us there was no point in waiting any longer, as we were supposedly the only ones who had bought tickets that's why the bus wasn't coming. Consequently, we had to take an exorbitantly expensive taxi just to make our flight from Sarajevo. Words cannot describe the stress, fear, exhaustion, and anger we experienced. Neither the 12go service nor the bus company sent ANY notification regarding the cancellation of this trip.

Anonymous What a messy driver. The driver didn't speak a word of English. That wouldn't be a big issue if it was a local bus, but that was a ride that crosses the serbian-bosnian border. He made us pay 360 dinar cash to put our luggage in the bus. He sounded very rude and loud; not having a care about our comfort. I know there are differences based on culture, but this guy didn't sound polite AT ALL. Another passenger who understood what he was saying told me that he wasn't nice for seemingly no reason. He drove very aggressively, even insulting another driver (even though it was the driver who did a bad maneuver, I saw it happen). He cut other drivers off multiple times and was often going way over the speed limit. I'm pretty sure he picked up a random man that paid him cash for the travel. This clearly is not the easiest ride for a bus driver, I get it, but there were no functioning security belts for us and the transmission had issues every now and then. I would never go back in this driver's bus.

Anonymous I had to pay for my luggage in the luggage compartment in dinars, but I only had euros and the driver was very rude to me, speaking in Serbian. In the end, another passenger paid the 200 dinars for me. It was an extremely unpleasant experience.

The Driver smoking; did not realize that this vehicle was a smoking vehicle. 2. There was no communication that arrival would be a lot earlier than as indicated on ticket, possibly the ticket provided the incorrect information. Had prearranged travel to accommodations that required a change which left us waiting for the arranged travel to arrive due to other commitments by the driver.

Anonymous ADISASTER!!! Nothing at all. Very bad day. Upon arriving at the bus station, at 7 a.m., we showed the manager our ticket, and he told us the bus left from plataform 6, at 7:45 a.m. A bus parked on platform bound for Belgrade, at 8, we showed our ticket to the driver, who, in very bad mood, told us to give him the luggage, which he charged for. Since it seemed to us that was not our bus, we insisted and, very angry, he made us get on. Two hours later, we asked him if It wasn't our stop to get off and he got very angry again with bad gestures. When we were able to have an internet signal we confirmed that it was not the indicated route, so we rebuked him, he rejected us again. We showed it to a passanger and he told him what our destination was. With bad gestures, he told us that we were crazy, that we have to get off and come back walking to the bus stop in Han Pijesak to retorn to Sarajevo. We lost money, time and our reservation in Tjentiste.

Anonymous Sarajevo - Beograd. The ride itself was beautiful and the nature around was very nice. Such a shame the bus windows were dirty. The driver was angry because I didn't have a printed out ticket. It is very complicated when you travel (by yourself) and the website says you can show your e-ticket to the driver. Some drivers just take pictures with their phones of the tickets but he was not happy with it. I told him I asked at the station if I needed a print out and it was Ok for them. He didn't speak any English so he left me alone but I didn't feel at ease. Why do you have QR codes when drivers don't know how to use them? Put it on your website if you need to print out your ticket, it will spare some stress of foreign travelers. I traveled for 8 hours and there was no moment of a break to go to the toilet or whatsoever. It was not a comfortable ride. Most people left the bus quickly for every stop it made with no instructions of the driver.

Anonymous The driver was a really good driver, had total control of the road. The driver was really rude, he didn’t speak any english. However even the Bosnian passangers were unhappy with him. During the stops he did’t tell how long it would be; at keast he could have learned the numbers in english. The luggage money wasn’t clear; we gave 3 kam at the station, we thought the luggqge was included, however there was no way to communicate with him; and he took extra 2 euros for a bag, didn’t bother about the cuange.

Anonymous It was a good ride. Since we went on Sunday it was tough to find refreshments as shops were closed. The view throughout the ride was wonderful. Driver was good. Overhead storage space was more than perfect for carry bags. Would be great to have WiFi service.

Anonymous Nice bus & A/C working well. With a 6.1 rating out of 10, I was expecting a bus not so nice. We got to choose our own seats. There were not so many people, so I had 2 seats for myself & carry bag. Tha adult man in seat behind me talked to himself for hours. He grabbed the seat and accidentally pulled hair. He was drunk & smelled like alcohol. He sang songs & patted the seat to the beat of music on bus speakers. I could not rest. Bus drivers did very little to calm him down. He made my trip miserable.

Anonymous Got us here on time. Bus left and arrived on time. Stopped a few times for toilet breaks. Rubbish bags provided on bus. Seats were quite uncomfortable. Didn't stop anywhere where we could get a meal or even any decent snacks. Would be useful if the driver told us how long we were stopping for when we stopped. Anonymous Old bus without A/C in 35 degree heat. Only a few passengers, so we could move away from the sun whenever needed. It was a really old bus without A/C or maybe the driver didn’t want to turn it on, windows couldn’t be opened either. Outside temperature was around 35 degrees so it felt like dying inside. The driver was also constantly smoking while driving. We only had one toilet break after around 5,5 hours, but because of the heat we had sweated all the water we had consumed anyways.

Anonymous Most corrupt bus station staff ever. They charged a 2mk "STATION TAX", collected by an old thug. Nothing whatsoever. Nothing whatsoever. Rude driver. Rude station staff. I would recommend people avoid this bus station at all costs if possible. Such a scam. This station, in Republica Serpska, has a large unemployed thug collecting a 2mk "STATION TAX" against all tourists who are not of Serb nationality. Further, the drive charged 4mk just to put my bag in the bottom of the bus. I suppose that is just how it goes in RS.

Anonymous Amazing drive. Beautiful scenery through Bosnia. It was a slow drive through the mountains, lots of pick-ups and drop off's. First stop for 5 minutes after 3 hours where there wasn't any facilities except a squat toilet. Second stop for 20 -30 minutes after over 6 hours.

Anonymous Bus was late by two hours and had not been cleaned from a previous usage. Driving did an amazing job to catch up a lot of the delay We have used Centrotrans before and the bus was great and the trip was too. This was a bad example of their service. Bus was late by two hours and had not been cleaned from a previous usage. A lot of the seats were broken and seatbelts didn’t work Seats were hard and the ride was bumpy Water was dripping all over the driver and the dashboard for part of the trip It felt like the bus had been pulled out of retirement for this trip. We have used Centrotrans before and the bus was great and the trip was too. This was a bad example of their service.

Anonymous La ruta está llena de curvas, precipicios etc.En la estación me cobrarien dos veces por la misma mal. El paisaje. Me cobraron dos veces la misma maleta, una al preguntar en taquilla, sobre si mi billete era correcto y cuál era el anden, me sacó un número de los que ponen en las maletas y le tuve que pagar 2 marcos (1 euro) Otra al llegar al Bus, me pidió otros 2 marcos les dije que ya había pagado y el conductor se puso a gritar. un empleado de la estación me dijo que el primer ticket solo era por entrar a la estación . Una chica Bòsnia que hablaba inglés me dijo.si quieres le explico que ya habías pagado al conductor.però igual no es buena idea.Los autobuses y los taxis en los balcanes són mala gente.

Anonymous Nevjerovatna drskost i nepristojnost vozača prema putnicima, nepostojeća klima, wifi.. Spretnost vozača na izuzetno teškoj ruti, dolazak i prije predviđenog vremena ! Nepristojno, drsko izdiranje vozača na putnike, nepristojni komentari, samo jedno zaustavljanje od 20 nin za 7h30 vožnje (wc)..autobus nema ni klimu, ni wifi, ni wc, sat, radio..

Anonymous Super late. Cheap. The bus was 1 hour and 35 minutes late, lots of confusion about if it was going to come. The bus stop is not clearly labelled as to what side of the road the bus will come.

Anonymous It was very hot in the car. Bus was on time. No A/C, there are only 2 windows in the bus, the driver only opened a little bit and the passenger window was also open just about 3 inches. The rest of the bus has no window we were really sweating in the bus and no fresh air to breathe.

Anonymous Nightmare pick up spot. I was picked up from the old abandoned bus station and not the new one. The driver was skilled. There is a new bus station in Ruma. Centrotrans does no pick up from there. Pickup of passengers is from the old Ruma bus station which was abandoned 20 years ago. It’s derelict and disgusting with no services. You must check departure details on get by bus tickets very carefully. It was a most unpleasant experience waiting for a bus in a dystopian landscape.
