I Vantaggi del Viaggio in Autobus
- L'autobus è la soluzione più indicata per raggiungere le località non servite dal treno o dall'aereo. Di solito, la rete di autobus copre quasi tutto il paese e spesso i tragitti sono già ben consolidati da molto tempo.
- A differenza dell'aereo o del treno, quando si viaggia in autobus non occorre arrivare in stazione con largo anticipo. Il check-in, anche per le tratte internazionali, non richiede tanto tempo. I limiti stabiliti per i bagagli sono di solito abbastanza convenienti per il passeggero e la tariffa per il bagaglio extra, se ci sono dei limiti, non è spesso molto alta.
- I biglietti d'autobus sono quasi sempre più economici di quelli dell'aereo o del treno veloce. I tipi di autobus si adattano a tutti i budget. Gli autobus standard, più economici, sono a volte un po' lenti e non forniscono il massimo comfort, ma sono comunque accettabili e ti porteranno a destinazione. Per i viaggi più lunghi, gli autobus sono solitamente dotati di servizi igienici o effettuano fermate per la toilette, e il prezzo include quasi sempre snack, acqua e talvolta articoli da toilette e coperte.

- I nuovi terminal interurbani degli autobus sono spesso situati fuori città, vicino alle autostrade, in modo da evitare il traffico urbano. Raggiungere un terminal di questo tipo può risultare problematico, poiché in alcuni terminal ci sono restrizioni in quanto ai veicoli che sono autorizzati a entrare e quindi per arrivarci occorre utilizzare trasporti speciali. Ciò potrebbe comportare costi più elevati soprattutto se i prezzi dei trasporti sono stati ribaltati. Se si viaggia nelle ore di punta, si deve prevedere più tempo, soprattutto se non si conosce la situazione del traffico locale.
- Gli autobus sono forse il mezzo di trasporto meno puntuale rispetto ai treni e agli aerei. Gli autobus dipendono fortemente dalla situazione stradale, che a volte è imprevedibile (incidenti, lavori stradali, deviazioni, ecc.). Questo vale soprattutto per i viaggi del fine settimana, l'alta stagione e le festività nazionali. Tienilo presente e non programmare connessioni troppo ravvicinate.
- Per viaggiare in alcune tratte o durante i periodi di maggiore affluenza è consigliabile prenotare in anticipo. Tieni conto che non è sempre possibile arrivare alla stazione e prendere il prossimo autobus: rischi di trovare i biglietti esauriti, quindi programma il tuo viaggio con largo anticipo.

Anonymous Super easy bus ride. The coach going was a double decker and so clean and comfortable. The return was single decker and again clean and comfortable. We were a little apprehensive due to not speaking Croatian but a very easy and pleasant trip from Rovinj to Porec. Bit wary of the bus station coming back.

Anonymous get by bus provides low service. Get by Bus is obviously over committed itself. Generally for travelling 10 minutes I had to wait extra 30 minutes, which is ridicules. (300% late against travel time). Which would be in some universes acceptable, but not in that way how it happened with us. I don't understand what is the aim of collecting personal data, if it is not used to inform the clients regarding the delay. It doesn't happen some minutes before the departure time, so it should be a known fact longer time before it. So it seems like Get by Bus doesn't manage to have a live tracking system with their partners and based on it to inform on time their clinets. Also I don't agree with their practise, that you have to make on abroad make international calls just to be informed 20-30 minutes later that your bus arrived with a delay. And "have a nice journey" - no, I hadn't, because I had to be boiled in a random bus stop without being informed in advance regarding the ETA to simply do other things, than waiting..

Anonymous Drivers are very unfriendly. Just what I did like that we arrived before time and was not on border for very long . Well drivers are not very polite , the bus was really full and we stoped just two times so was not really good . Some people did occupied two sit some was just normal which I did not understand . I would not recommend to travel again with this company from knin to Belgrade .

Purse then delivered back by bus to Split for me to collect. Real customer service. As bus had so many destinations not all mentioned on card at front and loading a bit complicated.

Overnight Coach, 00:45 - 7:30, could not get any sleep as the drivers were talking very very loudly all journey and playing loud music on the radio, despite switching lights off at the start. We booked this bus purposefully at this time so we could get some sleep whilst traveling between cities and we were not able to. We also booked seats for two of us two weeks in advance and were unable to sit together. The drivers were very rude and dismissed us when asking where we could store our luggage as we had two large bags and two small bags. The fact we had to store our large luggage in our legroom made the whole trip very uncomfortable.

I was really pissed of after this trip! So pissed of that we skipped the bus ride back and took the taxi! Never again! And they also came 30min to late! No words for it!
