Un minivan vient d'abord à votre hôtel et vous dépose à une station de bus
Ensuite, vous devrez attendre un deuxième grand bus qui sera le même que celui qui vous attendra lors des deux passages de frontière, jusqu'à la gare routière de Nong Khai.
Nous arrivons un peu avant 17 heures, il était donc parfait d'avoir notre bus de nuit à 18h30.

First a minivan comes to your hotel and drop off you to a bus station
Then you will have to wait for a second big bus which will be the same one which wait for you during the two border crossings, until the Nong Khai bus station.
We arrive a bit before 5pm so it was perfect to have our night bus at 6.30pm.

Le chauffeur est arrivé beaucoup trop tôt, le véhicule ouvert était correct mais je craignais constamment que nos bagages ne tombent. Avec le recul, j'aurais dû simplement acheter le billet moi-même et prendre un taxi jusqu'à la gare routière. Plus confortable, moins de temps d'attente, beaucoup moins cher.

The driver came far too early, the open vehicle was okay but I was in constant fear our luggage would drop off. In hindsight I should simply have bought the ticket myself and take a grab taxi to the bus station. More comfortable, less waiting time, much cheaper.
The whole trip went well. The pickup from the hotel was on time and the transfer to the big bus at the bus station went smoothly. Transfers through both borders was excellent and we were dropped safely at the bus station in Nong Khai. A lot of things needed to go smoothly and they did.
