Σχετικά με τον PP Service
Τα δύο κύρια πράγματα που κάνουν τα ταξίδια με βαν τόσο ελκυστικά είναι μια ευρεία επιλογή προορισμών και προσιτές τιμές. Δεν προσφέρουν όλα τα φορτηγά κορυφαία άνεση, αρκετό χώρο για τα πόδια ή χώρο αποσκευών. Εκτός αυτού, είναι πάντα τα φορτηγά που ξεκινούν νέα δρομολόγια σε αναδυόμενους προορισμούς ανοίγοντας το δρόμο σε μεγάλους φορείς εκμετάλλευσης λεωφορείων εάν είναι απαραίτητο ή παραμένοντας το μόνο μέσο μεταφοράς για να σας φέρουν εκεί. Πολύ συχνά, τα ημιφορτηγά προσφέρουν ταχύτερες υπηρεσίες από τα μεγάλα λεωφορεία, πιο ευέλικτα δρομολόγια και προσαρμόζονται πιο εύκολα στις ανάγκες των ταξιδιωτών με την έννοια του χρονοδιαγράμματος – εάν υπάρχει προσωρινή αύξηση της ζήτησης λόγω των μεγάλων Σαββατοκύριακων ή των εθνικών αργιών, τα ημιφορτηγά προσθέτουν περισσότερα οχήματα στον καθημερινό τους στόλο ευκολότερα από άλλους φορείς εκμετάλλευσης. Σημειώστε όμως ότι μερικές φορές τα φορτηγά λειτουργούν από τους δικούς τους σταθμούς βαν ή τερματικούς σταθμούς ή έχουν ένα ειδικό τμήμα σε μεγαλύτερους τερματικούς σταθμούς λεωφορείων. Ελέγχετε πάντα το σημείο αναχώρησης και άφιξης του φορτηγού σας, καθώς δεν βρίσκεται απαραίτητα στον κεντρικό σταθμό λεωφορείων.

PP Service Τιμές εισιτηρίων & Κατηγορίες Φορτηγών
Αντίθετα με τα τρένα ή τα μεγαλύτερα λεωφορεία, τα φορτηγά σπάνια σας προσφέρουν μια επιλογή κατηγορίας εισιτηρίου. Όλα τα καθίσματα είναι τα ίδια, VIP ή οτιδήποτε άλλο. Αυτό που μπορεί να διαφέρει, όμως, είναι ο τύπος του ίδιου του φορτηγού. Ορισμένα φορτηγά μπορούν να φιλοξενήσουν μόνο 9-10 επιβάτες. Για τους ταξιδιώτες αυτό σημαίνει φαρδύτερα καθίσματα, περισσότερο χώρο και ένα πιο άνετο ταξίδι. Τα φορτηγά που φιλοξενούν έως και 15 επιβάτες είναι επίσης εντάξει, αλλά να είστε έτοιμοι να θυσιάσετε χώρο για τα πόδια και τους αγκώνες σας και πολύ συχνά - και για τις αποσκευές σας. Μερικές φορές μπορεί να είναι καλή ιδέα να αγοράσετε δύο θέσεις αντί για μία για να εξασφαλίσετε μια πιο άνετη διαδρομή - ωστόσο αξίζει να ελέγξετε με τον χειριστή εάν το επιτρέπουν στη διαδρομή σας. Τα θετικά του να ταξιδεύεις με φορτηγάκι - βαν
- Τα φορτηγά μπορούν να είναι ο μόνος τρόπος για να φτάσετε σε μερικούς από τους πιο απομακρυσμένους προορισμούς, μικρότερες πόλεις ή χωριά που δεν συνδέονται ούτε με μεγάλα λεωφορεία ούτε τρένα.
- Τα φορτηγά μπορούν επίσης να σας μεταφέρουν σε ορισμένα νησιά που συνδέονται με την ηπειρωτική χώρα με μεγάλα οχηματαγωγά πλοία που δεν παίρνουν μεγάλα λεωφορεία αλλά παίρνουν και φορτηγά.
- Λόγω μικρότερου μεγέθους σε σύγκριση με τα μεγάλα λεωφορεία, τα φορτηγά είναι πιο ευέλικτα στο δρόμο. Μερικές φορές έχει ως αποτέλεσμα μικρότερο χρόνο ταξιδιού, ειδικά εάν ο προορισμός σας δεν είναι μακριά.
- Ενώ τα φορτηγά έχουν επίσημη στάση κατά τη διαδρομή, μπορούν επίσης να σας αφήσουν σε ένα πιο βολικό σημείο - δεν χρειάζεται να πάτε στον τερματικό σταθμό, απλώς ρωτήστε τον οδηγό σας. Σημειώστε ότι δεν είναι πάντα δυνατό, αλλά σε πολλές περιπτώσεις, θα συνεργαστούν. Μπορεί να σας εξοικονομήσει χρόνο και χρήμα που διαφορετικά θα είχατε ξοδέψει για να κατεβείτε από τον τερματικό σταθμό με τα πόδια ή με ταξί.
Τα αρνητικά του να ταξιδεύεις με φορτηγάκι - βαν
- Τα φορτηγά που φιλοξενούν περισσότερους επιβάτες μπορεί να γίνουν αρκετά άβολα. Περιμένετε περιορισμένο χώρο για τα πόδια και τους αγκώνες σας. Ορισμένα φορτηγά επιβάλλουν τις αποσκευές για ένα εισιτήρι. Εάν έχετε περισσότερες τσάντες, βαλίτσες ή σακίδια, μπορεί να σας ζητηθεί να αγοράσετε ένα ξεχωριστό εισιτήριο για τις αποσκευές σας, γεγονός που καθιστά το ταξίδι δύο φορές πιο ακριβό.
- Δεν λειτουργούν όλα τα φορτηγά σύμφωνα με το χρονοδιάγραμμα. Σε ορισμένες διαδρομές, τα φορτηγά αναχωρούν μόνο όταν είναι γεμάτα. Ελέγξτε το με τον χειριστή σας πριν αγοράσετε το εισιτήριό σας, διαφορετικά, μπορεί να καταλήξετε να περιμένετε πολύ περισσότερο από το αναμενόμενο μέχρι να γεμίσει το φορτηγό.
- Αν υπάρχουν περισσότεροι απερίσκεπτοι οδηγοί σε οποιοδήποτε άλλο μέσο μεταφοράς από ό, τι σε φορτηγά, δεν το γνωρίζουμε. Ορισμένες εταιρείες εγκαθιστούν μονάδες ελέγχου ταχύτητας στα οχήματά τους. Να θυμάστε πάντα να βάζετε τη ζώνη ασφαλείας σας όταν ταξιδεύετε με φορτηγάκι. Αν και μερικές φορές θα χρειαστεί να ψάξετε για να μάθετε πού βρίσκεται η ζώνη ασφαλείας σας.
- Για όσους είναι επιρρεπείς σε ναυτία, υπάρχει μια καλή συμβουλή: πάρτε το φάρμακό σας μισή ώρα πριν από το ταξίδι σας με το φορτηγάκι, ειδικά εάν η διαδρομή σας περιλαμβάνει ελικοειδείς διαδρομές. Είναι πιο πιθανό να αισθανθείτε ναυτία ταξιδεύοντας με φορτηγάκι παρά με λεωφορείο.

Elias BBeds were a bit short. If you’re smaller than 1,80m it should be good. Got orange juice in the beginning. Thought it was for free. We paid 100 Baht (could have asked). The AC was super super cold in the beginning but was way better through the night (no sweater was needed anymore). And they could dimm the light or switch it off while sleeping time. This was one major improvement point.
Maybe 12.go should provide the tickets through pdf, would make it easier than to pick it up. But was cool to get to see another part of Bangkok.
Overall it was an average experience.

Sweta BWe had a very comfortable journey. We travelled from Koh Phangan to the main land pier via a Seatran ship. It was big, spacious, beautiful views from the deck and balcony. Also because its a big boat if you have motion sickness you wont be affected by it much. We were then transferred from the pier to Surat Thani via a very comfortable bus followed by a van to our hotel. There is a break in between and we had some very tasty food made at the PP Service kitchen at very low cost. The staff were also very helpful and organised.

I wish there was more information about the facilities of the ferry/bus and the stops on the way – I bought snacks in panic before the trip just to realise I could have enjoyed coffee and breakfast on the ferry, and there were two stops at restaurants during the bus ride where I could have ordered a proper meal. Also at Surat Thani it was a bit difficult to find the right bus.

first you go to suratthani by minivan, then wait about 30-40 minutes and transfer to a large bus and go to donsak pier, and only then you are taken to the pier

The ferry from Koh Phangan to Surat Thani was on time, but after that, things got confusing. I had to switch between *4 different buses*, with long waits in between—none of this was mentioned in the 12Go itinerary. It should be clearly stated to avoid confusion. The stops were unnecessary.

Caitlin RThe driver from Surat Thani to Phuket airport got angry at a girl for wanting to check that her bag was in the car. He yelled at her and kept bringing it up as he was driving.
He was driving at 130km per hour and on his phone.
He also got angry when one passenger asked if he could go to the toilet.
There was also an incident with a passenger lighting a cigarette at a petrol station. The passenger definitely did the wrong thing but again the driver became abusive by yelling at him. It was definitely a language barrier problem but the driver could get assistance with staying calm. His behaviour was not appropriate.

Andrei MI booked a transfer from Phangan to Phuket Airport, and everything went perfectly! There were convenient stops along the way for food and restroom breaks. The transport was comfortable, with good air conditioning and cozy seats.
A special mention to the driver – he was cheerful and had a great sense of humor, which made the trip even more enjoyable. I asked if we could arrive on time as per my ticket, and although he initially doubted it, we ended up arriving exactly on time, down to the minute! Huge thanks for that.
Overall, everything was well-organized, smooth, and hassle-free. Highly recommend!
