Jaani KThe ferry left in time and it arrived in Surat Thani on time so it was great! The van ride was 1h late and we stopped 2 times in a 3-4h ride. I think 1 stop is enough but it was nice to stretch our legs and pick something to eat. Overall the whole trip was good for the price!

Melody IWent from Koh Tao to Khao Sok. The ferry went very well. The bus thoughdid seem very dodgy and was like a couple of hours late, stopped about 2-3 times in the middle of nowhere, the driver just got out and we were hearing weird noises as if the bus broke down. The driver wasn’t friendly and just didn’t tell us what was going on. Apart from that not too bad.

Shannon WThe speedboat from Koh Tao to Surat Thani was GREAT! Fast and efficient! Staff helpful and kind! The van ride from Surat Thani to Kaoh Sok was horrible. We payed the bus station 300b extra to take us directly to our hotel. The van was hot and cramped, the driver stopped 4 times to go into random stores and pee on the side of the road. Drove an hour past our hotel and said he wouldnt take us back we could pay a taxi 1200b to take us. Total nightmare.

Stefan MThe route wasn't explained: type of boat, duration of the crossing, and type of bus. We waited a long time in an old bus for another boat to arrive, without anyone offering us any assistance, and people who arrived much later left before us in more comfortable conditions. As a result, we had difficulty getting a connection for the rest of the journey.

Ralph LUnfortunately we arrived over 1 Hour Late because the car Operator made a pre-planned stop at its own Break-station, staying there unnecessarily long, which was unfortunately because we missed a pre-booked tour we had arranged for the time after our arrival. At the Break station they also wanted to have 50BHT/Person to get them to their Hotel in Khao Sok. Besides that, everything went Well and the Operator was nice and helpful.

Stephen PThe minivan was the most uncomfortable vehicle I have ever travelled. Very slow, we had to change vehicles 4 times!! Not what was advertised. So arrived 90 minutes later than expected. we had wait over an hour in Krabi for last vehicles. Very poor information and service.

Jana We booked the catamaran from Koh Phangan and then travelled on to Krabi by van from Surat Thani. The catamaran was operated by Lomprayah, as is well known. However, the van was not, and so no one could or would tell us how to continue from Surat Thani. We were sent from one person to the next. There were no signs for the buses and vans. Finally, we found what we assumed to be the bus to Krabi. Instead of the van we had booked, it was a bus. It also took almost an hour longer than booked. No one on the bus wanted to see our tickets or take our names for a possible list. Shortly after we boarded, the bus drove off immediately. A few minutes later and we would have been left standing there. The transfer in Surat Thani was very unprofessional.

Simone MThe air conditioning on the boat blows directly onto the bed. Perhaps there is no alternative due to the limited space, but at least they could provide a normal blanket. The one provided was really small and only covered half of the body.

Thijs VFerrytrip all fine, the minibus from the pier to Khao Sok was less fine. All busses en minibusses arrived at the end of the pier where we disembarked the ferry. But not our minivan. After everybody left our minibus still wasn't there. Then the busdriver showed up and we had to follow him. He decided not to bring him minibus, instead, we had to walk the whole pier to find his minibus. We were not prepared for this walking. I still don't understand why he didn't bring the minbus to us. The rating stars I use are for the minbus, not for the ferry, ferry was great.

Tarunendra PThe ferry from Koh Tao to Surat Thani was great! However the Minivan from Pattana Tours at Surat Thani was congested and they fit in more passengers than seats making the ride uncomfortable for all.
Pros: On time
Cons: More Passengers than could have been accommodated in the Minivan

Ronen KThe transition from land to the ship is very difficult for elderly and disabled people to walk, and to drag a suitcase. On the ship we sat down, our feet don't reach the floor, a 50-minute cruise, very difficult. What's the problem with building a raised platform to put our feet on? The descent to Hadrin was also a nightmare. And you put the suitcases and bags on top of each other, our suitcase was down, crushed, fortunately there was no damage.
