The journey from Bangkok to Mae klong was comfortable but the return was aweful; the vans clutch was on its last legs making driving in traffic terrible, the suspension was ruined so we felt every slight bump in the road, there was no luggage space for our bags and the back seats we had had next to no AC which was very uncomfortable.

My booking was for 1pm (Maeklong to Bangkok) When I reached Maeklong terminal at around 12.20pm, I was told that I'm only leaving at around 1.20pm. Apparently the minivan that was supposed to leave at 1 pm was already full.

With trafic, it takes 2 hours. Trafic everyday. 50% chance to have a dirty old bus.

I almost miss the van. I arrived at the pick up point at 1735, and the station kiosk was closed. But my booking for the van is made at 1800. The staff was leaving the kiosk and she saw me and asked if I’m going back to Bangkok. I showed her the booking appointment and she realised she missed a passenger. Then she drove me to the van so that I could go back Bangkok. If not, I would probably stay one night in amphawa. Lastly, the staff told me that the last van from Amphawa to Bangkok is at 1730, So,just be careful.
