As you could not offer seats anymore on Lomprayah, I bought seats on Raja but finally could manage to buy in the airport 2 seats on the last afternoon Lomprayah speed boats. This shows that 12 GO has a quota of seats and there may still be more seats available when 12 GO does not offer any more seats. The boat and price are just the same. crossing was very smooth

Lomprayah van picked me and a thai woman up at the airport around 13.30 and drove us to the small Pier at Maenam. Luckily, in the last minut, I could board the 15.00 boat instead of the17.00 boat. I was anyway quite surprised that the boat was not the standard catamaran but a medium size speed boat with around 40 seats. Crossing was bit rought due to wind but lasted only 25 minutes. Everything Ok and helpful staff took care of my suitcase. Thank you Lomprayah !

Delay at hotel pick up by 0,5 hr. got information 1hr before. Delay of ferry to Thongsala by almost 45 min without any information. Very unstructured information about pick up of luggage upon arrival. Firstly it was said pick up your luggage in front then it showed it was only valid for the backpacks while all suitcases should be picked up at port. Created extra ques. Otherwise ferry and ticket counter felt modern and secure

Very convenient as it is located right near the airport. I actually missed my scheduled boat at 1.00pm but the company replaced it for the 4.30 ferry without an extra cost. Only suggested improvement is of they could make an announcement about the luggage collection when reaching Thong Sala. You should exit the boat from the back and they will unload your luggage for you onto another pier.

The girls at the counter in the airport (who had nothing to do w/Seatran and were organising van transfer) were a bit rude but the Seatran part was smooth like buttah and very friendly, safe, reliable, efficient.

Transfer Come at time. Ferry was normal. You will go by ferry only about 40 minutes, and wait on a Pier 1,5 hours.

The ferry will get you from A to B at a good price. You can get faster ferries to koh Pha-ngan but an hour and a half of nice views sea cruise is time well spent. You can get snacks on the ferry as well, but if you travel with big suitcases you will have to carry them up and down narrow stairs

flexible. I could choose any time to go back to Koh Samui. It may take longer to take your boat if many people come at the same time though.

Speedboat was quick and they provided life jackets for the journey. Only downside was the long wait for our hotel pick up and to get on the speedboat.
