It took as promised 8h. All was organized, no problems. As a ticket was only until to the pier we paid extra for a van owner to bring us directly to the hotel in Lanta. Next time I would try a private transport from hotel to hotel with 5h, see thaiwisely.com. This time we were suspicious because of no information who and how, couldn't find any comments either.

I found it to be a very professional and efficient set up at the pier and the guys driving the coach (and the minibus) were amazing. The signage was clear and you had the Seatran representatives guiding the way as well. Thank you, I will definitely use Seatran again. Maxine

The trip went very well until we had been transferred to a minivan in Krabi. The driver drove recklessly and also on arrival to Koh Lanta didn't even drop us at the pier as originally arranged.. He dropped us 900M away and directed us to walk.

Fairly painless and easy trip. First, go to songserm office next to 7/11 by the pier to get your ticket. Then you jump on the ferry, take a coach bus, go through a couple transfers, and youre done. I paid 100 baht extra to drop me off at my hotel as well. Arrived later than 14:30 (closer to 16:00), but im not complaining. Would book again!

The ferry itself needs to be updated the seats were disgusting and felt very dirty so we had to sit outside on the top deck. The transport in the buses was not good at all! The first bus the toilet was blocked and so the smell of poo was going through the bus. The second bus seemed very unorganized and the individual in charge at the transfer office was super rude
