No Bus came to the Tung Luxury Hotel. They repeated “2 Minutes “ but nothing happened. After I called the telephone number on my ticket a car came to pick us up. He braught us to the bus and wanted extra money for this service. I was irritated, because nobody really spoke to me.

We were put into the wrong bus (luxury bus) half way we had to suddenly switch in a hurry to another bus going the same direction but (budget version) instead of leaving us in the luxury bus (which had enough space) we were switches together with several other people who were supposed to be in the luxury bus. What followed was a 5.5 hour drive instead of the 4 hour drive in a shitty bus with bad service and no seatbelts. After 1.5 hours with multiple delays and the switch we stopped in Cat Ba from Ha Long Bay. Not even 1/3th of the way to Ninh Binh

Seats were overbooked, the driver took more people with him than seats were in the van. In Ninh Binh we had to go out of the bus and had to wait for 30 min to get another bus. Instead of 3h the ride took us 6h.

The trip was OK. Again, non of this is really 12go's issue, more the operator. We had to transfer to an essentially abandoned hotel in Ha Long bay for collection, where there was nothing to do but sit and wait. The initial driver was 20 minutes late, then we transferred to another bus after driving around Ha Long to pick up other passengers. The bus itself was fine, but the overall journey - advertised as arriving at 14:20 from a 12:00 departure - didn't arrive to Ninh Binh until after 16:00, and only had one toilet break which was very difficult for small children. We then transferred to another car for the final journey to Trang An. I mean, it all worked, but it was very complicated and much longer than advertised.

Arrived bang on time to collect us. Very comfortable drive. Arrived at the destination earlier than originally estimated, and they actually dropped everyone off right outside our accommodation, which in our case was a 20-min drive away from the office address they had marked as the destination. So we really appreciated not having to get a Grab from the office to our hotel!
