Myanmar gets Nissan factory


After significant changes in Myanmar policy the government was opened to foreign investments. Japan's Nissan Motor Co is going to launch its first factory in Myanmar.


After significant changes in Myanmar policy the government was opened to foreign investments. Japan's Nissan Motor Co is going to launch its first factory in Myanmar, which will work jointly with Tan Chong Motors from Malasia, exclusive distributor of Nissan cars in some countries of Southeast Asia.

At the first auto plant will make 10,000 cars and will give working places for 300 local people. Nissan general director declared, that Myanmar will become "important economic engine" for SEA.
