Christian FUnfortunately, the bus did not follow the schedule. We departured 1.5h later then planned and we arrived almost 3h late. As we had to catch our ferry in Sanur, the bus driver stopped for a us at a terminal close to Sanur harbour, therefore we were lucky and made it just in time to our ferry.
The bus and the seats were comfortable and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the toilet on the bus was quite repulsive.
All in all an average rating of 3 stars is fair from our point of view.

Erin Don’t expect to sleep on this overnight trip. While it’s listed as a “VIP BUS” there is nothing VIP about it and it’s a shuttle, not a bus. More like an extended van with small, cramped seats. Pretty uncomfortable compared to other buses we’ve taken around SE Asia.
The driver was excellent at communicating any delays to us- the bus arrived 2.5 hrs later than the booking window but he communicated that well.
We were in the worst seats, the back seats, and were constantly jostled and bumped around the entire 12 hr trip. We felt every bump. I’ve never been car sick before but came close this time. It was ROUGH.
This is probably still the best direct option from Probolinggo to Bali with door-to-door service at a very affordable price. Just don’t expect to get any sleep or have a very comfortable trip.
