I booked a combi travel from Bangkok to Koh Mak over 12go Asia. Before I booked I wrote a mail to the support to ask if there is a transfer included from Trat Bus Terminal to the Pier. They garanteed me over mail that a transfer to the pier is included and sended me the link to book the jorney. So I trusted them and booked the package. On our way to Trat. 15 minutes before the Bus Terminal, the bus driver said that everybody who want‘s to go to koh Mak or Koh Chang has now to leave the Bus, so we got out on a small market in the nowhere. There was a private Taxi Service to the Pier for 100 Bhat each person. They told us that 12go asia are lyers, there is no transfer included and if we book the bus directely in Bangkok and the ferry on the ferry station we would have saved 140 Bhat each of us 😏 after calling the support from 12 go Asia they told us on the telephone, that in our voucher is no transfer included. Great! 😏 but we got to Koh Mak with a few extra costs and that‘s the most important thing.

The bus was almost brand new. Definitely clean and well kept. The driver assisted me with the luggage. He didn't drive too fast and was informative regarding stops.

Unpünktlich bei Abfahrt. Viele Gäste unterwegs ohne Haltestellen zu- und ausgegestiegen. Bus hat ebenfalls viele schwere Pakete unterwegs zu und ausgeladen Minibus fuhr nicht zum Pier. Weiterfahrt war aber organisiert Fahrer jedoch war hilfsbereit und freundlich.

no one wanted all the documents 12go asia told us to print (we extra made a medical certificate which costs us a lot) and also just a few (so did we) weared a mask in the bus... but all in all it was a chilled ride with no problems at all.

น่าจะมีให้เลือกที่นั่งได้ เสียค่าตั๋วแพงกว่าซื้อข้างนอก แต่ต้องไปนั่งข้างหลังสุด ทั้งๆที่ว่างเหลือเยอะ แคบและเมื่อยมาก ผิดกับอีกแอปที่สามารถเลือกที่นั่งได้ ส่วนคนที่ไปซื้อหน้าเคาเตอร์กลับเลือกที่นั่งได้

It was not clear that a Minibus does not pick you up at Thammachat Pier. First you must find the company office who will then arrange a songthaew to take you to a waiting area outside of town. Then you must wait for the minibus to come from Trat. Also the bus doesn't stop at a regular gas station rest stop. It stops at a small Thai-style rest stop a few hours into the trip, so I'd recommend using the restroom and getting drinks or snacks ahead of time.

The driver was stopping multiple times to collect certain packages. This took a big amount of time. When we almost got to the pier, he also had to take detours to drop the packages which again took a lot of time.

Wir waren 2 Stunden früher da. Die Angestellte war so flexibel, dass wir innert 5 Minuten in einem früheren Van, der nicht voll war, sassen. Das empfohlene 3. Ticket für „big luggage“ wäre in unserem Fall nicht nötig gewesen. Aber man weiss ja nie. Auf die Bitte einer Mit-Passagierin nach einem Toiletten-Stop - was mir gar nicht ungelegen kam - wurde schnell reagiert. Der Fahrer fuhr sicher und professionell. Alles in allem hat mich die Flexibilität dieser Firma sehr positiv überrascht.

Arrived 1 hr early, and there was immediately a van for me. A.C. worked. Driver safe. Lunch stop offered duck, boar, venison curry. Connections to ferry were smooth. All good.

Guter minivan mit kimaanlage. Ein Stop auf der Strecke nach trat. Von trat dann mit Pick up zur Fähre. Hat alles reibungslos funktioniert.

Kann den 5 Uhr Bus empfehlen. Pünktliche Abfahrt, Transportwechsel kurz vor Trat, um zum Pier zu kommen. Autofähre war ok. Am Ende waren wir eine Stunde früher da. In Koh Chang warten Sammeltaxen, die einen für 50-150 Baht (je nachdem wo man hin möchte) zum Hotel fahren.

die Fahrt hat gut geklappt haben auch den entsprechenden Schalter am Busbahnhof relativ einfach gefunden und wurden dann zum richtigen Bus gut geleitet, es gab einen zwischenstopp von 5 minuten, leider ging die Fahrt aber nicht bis zum vereinbarten Endpunkt sondern mussten wir 45 Minuten vorher umsteigen in einen kleinen offenen personentransporter hier mussten wir ein Ticket für das Schiff und auch etwas für diesen Transporter bezahlen, aber sonst alles ok

Доехали, и слава богу! :) Вначале про багаж: Потребовали денег за багаж. В итоге, вначале водитель составил багаж на соседнее с собой место, потом по дороге посадил туда пассажиров, наш багаж составил рядом с нами таким образом, что и нас и нашего соседа очень потеснил. Данная маршрутка не приспособлена к перевозке багажа, от слова "совсем", да и пассажиров бы ею лучше не возить! Может быть - рабочих на стройку, но длительностью поездки не более полутора часов! К водителю претензий, как к водителю нет - ехал нормально. Где то перед поворотом на паром нас пересадили в такой себе грузовичок, со скамеечками вдоль бортов и сзади свободным выходом (не помню как называется). Правда, спасибо женщине-водителю грузовичка, что довезла очень вовремя к парому, только загрузились и сразу же отчалил. В-общем, как-то доехали :)). Живы и даже целы! Время в пути - 6 часов до высадки с парома.

Die Fahrt war ok. Es gab einen Zwischenhalt für Essen/trinken/toilette. Alles gut organisiert. Leider etwas wenig kommunikation, aber man braucht in Asien einfach das vertrauen, dass man irgendwann und irgendwie schon ankommt. Am Ende hat alles wunderbar geklappt und waren rechtzeitg bei der fähre die uns dann mach koh chang gebracht hat.

Gets you there. There’s a change of bus at Trat, where you get on a smaller one to the pier. Then ferry to koh chang’s northernmost pier. From there you either rent a bike 200thb/day or more, or take a taxi/minibus for 40-150thb depending on how south you want to go on the island

Hat alles wunderbar geklappt, pünktlich, freundlich und der Busfahrer hatte einen sehr guten, angenehmen Fahrstil. Es gab zur Hälfte eine Toilettenpause von 15 Min.

With 16 man in a van just as big as a vw transporter for more than 5 hours , absolute not meant for western longer than than 1,60 meters please when you go koh chang take a touring car instead of this transportation

Bus arrived 25 min late. Older Toyota Coaster with wear and tear for its age. A minivan (toyota commuter) left on time, is quicker than 4.5 hrs and cost THB200, but I had prebooked my ticket.

Arrivées en temps et en heure mais dans un confort minimum... Un changement de bus non prévu mais avec surtout un truck à bestiaux au confort et à la sécurité incertains. Le même voyage pris en direct à la gare ferroviaire coûte beaucoup moins cher et on sait à quoi s'attendre dans cas. Solution non recommandée

Der Bus war sehr unbequem, die Sitze sind sehr eng. Kurz vor Trat war ein Umsteigen in einen Pickup notwendig, weiteres Umsteigen in die Fähre und dann noch ein Taxi auf der Insel. Reise war dadurch sehr aufwändig. Die Reise ein Jahr zuvor mit dem staatlichen großen Reisebus kostete nur die Hälfte, die Dauer der Reise war exakt gleich und es war wesentlich bequemer, da ein Umsteigen in den Pickup nicht notwendig war..

Die Fahrt sollte um 05:00 beginnen. Wir sollten dennoch um 4:15 schon beim Bus Terminal sein. 05:05 ging es dann los. Der Fahrer machte einen guten Eindruck und ist nicht wie üblich in TH viel zu schnell gefahren - einfach nur flott. Es gab dann einen Bus Wechsel für die letzten km bis zum Pier. Wir würden dann alle auf die Ladefläche eines Taxis gesetzt. Die Fahrt hat zum Glück nicht lange gedauert. Am Pier haben wir dann das Taxi verlassen und zu Fuß auf die Fähre gehen müssen. Der Preis für die Fähre war inkludiert. Die Reise endete somit am Pier in Koh Chang. Am Ende sind wir sogar 1,5h vor der angesetzten Uhrzeit angekommen.

Ich hatte einen 12 Uhr Bus von Bangkok nach Koh Chang gebucht und war schon deutlich früher am Terminal. Als klar wurde, dass im 11 Uhr Bus noch Platz ist, durfte ich dort mitfahren. Super lieb! Die Busfahrt war angenehm und wir machten eine Pause für Toilettenbesuch und Verpflegung. In Trat wird dann gegen das Vorzeigen des Bustickets ein Taxiticket ausgehändigt und es geht mit eben diesem weiter bis zum Pier. Dort wird das Taxiticket gegen ein Fährticket ausgetauscht und man setzt gemütlich über. Drüben gibt es dann Sammeltaxis (diese sind dann nicht mehr im Preis enthalten), wir haben pro Person 80 Baht bezahlt. Ich habe bisher gute Erfahrungen mit den Minivans/Bussen und der Organisation drum herum gemacht und kann es weiterempfehlen. :) Danke!

Hat gut geklappt. Nur 5 Stunden bis zur Fähre. Wir waren nur 4 Fahrgäste. Tipp: Sonntag 5 Uhr abfahren.

Hat alles prima geklappt. Wir waren eine Std. vor Abfahrt am Schalter. In Trat sind wir einen Transporter umgestiegen zur Fähre. Alles gut organisiert. Kann ich nur empfehlen. Wir hatten für 3 Plätze bezahlt obwohl wir nur zu zweit gereist sind. Wir hatten jeweils Koffer dabei und wollten auf Nummer sicher gehen. Das Gepäck war dann vorne und mein Mann hatte zwei Sitze für sich was wesentlich angenehmer war. Würden wir wieder so machen. Auch früher da sein lohnt sich, da die Dame Platznummern vergibt. Nr 6 war ideal. 7 am Fenster hat den Radkasten.

Die Fahrt war ok, aber nicht besonders Rücken schonend (letzte Reihe!). 30 km vor der Fähre muss man plötzlich unvorbereitet den Bus verlassen und auf ein Songtew umsteigen. Darauf hätte man vorher hinweisen sollen. Zeitlich hat alles gestimmt, der Komfort entsprach dem Preis.

Pleased ready Ricardo Gardeas comment. We have been little confused too. Der Fahrer hat immer Gas gegeben und dann wieder losgelassen sodass der Wagen ruckelte und uns schlecht wurde wie auf einem Boot. Wir waren pünktlich in Bangkok.

This minibus is a very good alternative for the minivans. Only the seats are a little bit too small when you have long legs. We sure use this minibus again for travelling.

2* for taking us 2hours earlier and for the driver that in comparission to others in Thailand drove carefully. The bus was horrid. The dirtiest vehicle I have ever seen. There were cocroaches inside!!! You should definitely put more attention on state of your vehicles because for now it is hopeless.

I slept almost all the time. The van was not so full otherwise could be more stressful. The driver was nice and he stopped 2 times before arriving to Trat.

Mini van with no chairs you can relax just in right position. No sun screen so very hot also with airco. Driver was very Nice
